Title: Disable victory-point counters?
Post by: Xiaomei23 on 05 January 2017, 10:22:11 PM
I may have missed something really obvious, but is there a way to turn off the VP counters? I really prefer playing without them, as strategizing is a lot different if you do not know the exact number of VPs you have.

Click New Table then Create Table then Advanced Options and you will see a box labelled Show VP counter which is checked by default which you can uncheck. This only applies to the current table and if you leave the table the next time you'll have to do this again. I'm guessing maybe they'll update this in the future - I don't know I'm just another user. HTH

When I get to the end of a game, I get that "waiting for opponent "and the only way I can get out is to resign. Suggestions?

Sounds like you are about to win and are being either baited to resign or the other person just left. I think i read somewhere around here that there should be a timer and then once it has expired it will give you the option of kicking the opponent out. Around 5 minutes i think. You just have to wait them out i guess.

This is a known bug, until it is fixed you can get out by reloading the page and logging in again.
