Title: Conflicted reconnecting / connected
Post by: BogusTH on 24 April 2017, 05:37:40 AM
Since this new online Dominion arrived on the scene, I've averaged about 10 games daily - until last Thursday when my account won't connect any more.

Just after finishing one game with a friend (after about our 4th game), I got a screen that said "Reconnecting". However, at the same time over that it said "connected to gameserver" and the icon just kept spinning. I would say it was frozen, but because the icon kept spinning, it seemed like something was going on. Yet, the system didn't know whether I was connected or not.

It never let me through to the system again. And I couldn't even log out or get to the login screen. So I tried a different browser and the same thing happened - instead of getting a login screen it showed the same "Reconnecting" "connected to gameserver" message. After clearing my cache, I finally got to the login screen. But as soon as I entered my name and password the same "Reconnecting" "connected to gameserver" message was there again.

Today, it's still the same issue. I can't get in.
So I cleared my cache again and instead created a new account. With my new account (that's why it says I'm a newbie in this thread because I've created a new account just to post this issue), I was able to login and play. I played a handful of games against the computer and everything was working fine. So I logged out and tried again with my normal account. Guess what? You got it, the same "Reconnecting" "connected to gameserver" conflicting message was there spinning again.

What's the deal?!?!?!

That worked!
Thank you for pointing that out.
