Title: Does AI use events?
Post by: CoWm4n on 04 September 2017, 09:35:01 PM
Not sure about this, but I think the AI never uses Events...or does it?

It does use Delve, but I don't know if it uses it just as a cheap way to buy *one* Silver or if it actually takes advantage of the additional buy (like 'buying'  2 Silver for 4).

The AI was basically scrapped together so there would be something instead of nothing, so don't expect much nuanced play from it. It's no surprise that it largely ignores events.

Here's it using an Event:

Turn 1 - Lord Rattington
L plays 5 Coppers.
L buys a Trade.
L trashes nothing.
L draws 5 cards.

The AI will in fact buy 2 delves to gain 2 Silver for 4, but overall I think the only events it uses are Delve, Borrow and Trade.
