Title: Bug Report : Swindler
Post by: idaho7777 on 30 November 2017, 02:16:05 PM
During my turn, I was playing Swindler and proceeded to empty 3 piles in a 4 player game.

However, the game ended as soon a the 3rd pile was empty, and I did not get any chance to buy anything during the buy phase.

My game number was 9197397

Cheers
(And thanks for the good work)

From what I see there was 1 Swindler and 1 Chapel left and your opponents didn't trash any 3-cost on your Swindler:

La plays a Swindler.
Lord V trashes a Beggar.
Lord V gains a Chapel.
Lord R trashes a Copper.
Lord R gains a Copper.
R trashes an Estate.
R gains an Estate.

So you needed to buy the Swindler yourself to end the game. Do you have autoplay on? Then it can be you bought it while thinking you were giving it to the opponent.

I see the point. Because I didn't have any actions left, it may have switched automatically to the buy phase, without me notifying.

Thanks for the explanation

A key point may be that one opponent trashed a Copper, and since Curses were already gone, the game automatically made them gain a Copper as replacement, without any user interaction. idaho7777 probably expected to click 3 times for his 3 opponents during the Swindler effect, but Swindler was over after 2 clicks and the third click was not giving out a Swindler to his opponent, but buying one for themselves.
