I have 8$, but can't buy province or the sprawling castle. Can only buy cards up to 6.
You can remake the bug by loading the game on decision 320 and play the treasures. And you can see on the attached screenshot there's nog "+" on the provinces and the sprawling castle.
My guess is this:
"Turn 12 - Rabid
R plays a Conclave.
R plays a Sauna.
R draws a Bazaar.
R plays a Worker's Village.
R draws a Conclave.
R plays a Conclave.
R plays a Bazaar.
R draws a Conclave.
R plays a Conclave.
R plays a Silver.
R trashes a Copper.
R repays 10 debt (2 remaining).
R draws a Gold, a Forager and 3 Saunas."
After trashing the copper you only have $9 to pay the 10 debt.
Rabid's right. This is a known bug (http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?msg=3671;topic=1226.0#post_Sauna), but it's the first time I've seen it 'in the wild'. The problem was there the whole time from turn 12 to turn 18, but one usually doesn't recongize it because one trusts the computer to at least do the calculations right.
