My Turn 16 during my night phase I played a werewolf and L received a War: "L reveals a Copper, a Silver and a Duchy.".
Since the visuals are bad, I can only see the log and not if the Duchy was revealed after the Silver or the order is simply wrong.
Yes, when cards get summarized in one line, they're not always in the correct order. I'd assume that Duchy was indeed before Silver in the draw pile.

Is there any reason why this could possibly be a good thing? I think it's only ever confused me. Seems like it should be put on the backlog to fix this.

Indeed there is no good reasoning, it's a bug.
It's "Law and Order", or alternatively "War and Peace". :P
