Title: Browser extensions
Post by: Werlix on 14 August 2018, 03:09:58 AM
Just had a couple questions regarding browser extensions:

1. Are browser extensions that utilise open game information permissible? (eg an extension that tracks the deck compositions of both players based on what they've gained throughout the game)

2. If so, are there any already out there?

I'm curious because Dominion has a lot of open information that the game client doesn't allow you to see (eg contents of decks).

It would confer an unfair advantage to the player using it. Tracking relevant info is an important skill in any game, including card counting for Black Jack in Vegas in the 70/80s and basically any trick taking game etc.

I hope not.
