Fairly new here. Recently started playing rated games through the "Matching" feature. The games say "rated" when I start but upon completion of the games, it doesn't seem as if I have "credit" for the game. When I click leaderboard, my rating and the number of games played hasn't changed. Why is that?
The official ratings shown in the client are updated once per day, usually around European midnight. That's why you don't see the effect immediately. If you want to see your rating when taking into account the games since the last ratings update, go to

then put in your username and press the "Get glicko estimate" button.
