Both of the cards seem to have an issue where its attack action does not activate.
If oppo played Soothsayer, it acted normal. If I played it, it would give me Gold but oppo did not receive Curse. No cards in the kingdom had ability to stop from gaining Curse, and nothing in the log to clarify that an ability did such a thing.
Fortune Teller would 75% of the time do its attack action.
I was wondering if this is a known card bug?
No, neither is a known bug.
Do you have the game number for either occurance? Because then it would be possible to find out what happened.
Possible explanations for Soothsayer: Curses may have run out already.
Possible explanations for Fortune Teller: Opponent may have trashed their initial Estates, or have them in their hand.
Those are probable explanations. And sorry, I don't have the game number for reference. I should note them next time.
