Played a match where Duplicate (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Duplicate) was a kingdom card. I bought it on my first turn, then used it as soon as it came up to dupe a Goathearder.
They then rage quit.
Can anyone explain why someone would find this card worth that behavior?
I guess I would wonder if he rage quit, or just quit for some different reason. I mean, I doubt the use of a Duplicate card on a $3 card would be enough to make someone throw in the towel. Maybe they misplayed something and just happened to realize it after your move, and then decided not to continue?
I wondered that too. The exact exchange was "Copying cards...really?! Whatever." and quit. I couldn't understand their response. It really seemed like a rage quit as if somehow it was unfair or broken.
That's a genuinely funny (and puzzling) story.
