After the recent interface updates, I no longer see how to modify my card lists. When I go to "Customize Options --> Cardlists", the interface doesn't work and I only see a string that includes "ctrl.title".

Making this issue worse, the update seems to have scrambled my card lists, some of my card lists changed. For example, Bounty Hunter appeared out of nowhere on my disliked list.

I logged in on Chrome (on a PC).

Other Bugs / Two Groom kingdom piles
31 May 2021, 03:28:27 PM
There are two Groom kingdom piles (out of ten kingdom card supply piles). Only one Groom pile can be bought or gained! Game #78054167 on tokyo.

I was using "extra menagerie" and had required Groom in the Kingdom.

When I have Livery in play and gained Province or Duchy, I was asked whether I wanted to resolve Livery first or to discard them from Exile, even though I had the "don't ask me to discard bad cards from Exile" autoplay on (under auto play for "Province"). Game #39399259.

Since the recent large update, the "end actions phase" auto play for Crown does not seem to be working.

Edit: what was happening is "1) If you have Villagers, the game thinks you might want to convert them to Actions, so doesn't auto-advance to the buy phase".

J shuffles their deck.
J reveals a Bazaar and a Patron.
J gets a Coffers from Patron.
J puts a Bazaar into their hand.
J discards a Patron.
J plays a Captain.
J plays a Border Guard.
J gets +1 Action.
J reveals a Graverobber and a Patron.
J gets a Coffers from Patron.
J puts a Graverobber into their hand.
J discards a Patron.

Interface issue - you can't pick the correct copy of a duration card being discard to Scheme if it is behind a copy of that same card that is not being discarded.

At the start of a solo game, please give a player the option to order their starting deck. Qvist had to wait 425 turns to get the correct starting hand to illustrate a puzzle solution! http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=17800.msg751501#msg751501

Please disable all "pretend to think" options (e.g., Gladiator) in games with only one human and the rest bots.

Autoplay settings aren't shown at the start of a game. It would be nice if all of the cards in the Kingdom with autoplay, and their current setting, were shown at the start of each game.

I had thought based on someone's post that autoplay settings persist across games when changed, but it turns out that this was incorrect (which is what Mic is responding to).

If I choose a card with Ambassador, before I decide how many of that card to put back, my opponent needs to approve a undo request for me to change the card chosen.

I recall that a similar issue happens with Hamlet when choosing "discard for action" vs. "discard for buy" vs. "discard for both". The permission of the opponent should not be necessary to undo these intermediate steps in resolving an action.

With cards with on-gain effects (Villa, Death Cart, etc.), it isn't clear from the interface that you have the option not to use Watchtower. You have to click something like "Villa" in the log to trigger the Villa's on-gain effect without using Watchtower, which is confusing. I mentioned this issue with Death Cart here: http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=1014.msg2630#msg2630

Fine to delete this post.

In a game with Fool, Lost in the Woods is not visible at the start of the game. I need to go to the Fool preview to see what it does: http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=17781.0;topicseen

In addition, there appears to be nowhere that I can see what all of the Boons do at the start of the game. But I think Stef is aware of and working on that.

There's currently no interface that shows the cards placed on your Crypts, or your Archives. For Crypt in particular, it's very hard to tell when it will run out of treasures without scrolling many turns back through the log. Please add an interface that shows this.

I reloaded game 7748919, which I had played. The reload number is "game #7775448." The text for which cards were revealed by Poor House is incorrect when I reload the game. Every time that I play Poor House, the reload indicates that I revealed a single Hamlet. I noticed the same issue with Crossroads in a different game upon reloading.

For example, for Poor House: Turn 7: J draws a Village, an Ambassador, a Hamlet, a Necropolis and a Poor House.

Turn 8 - JW
J plays a Necropolis.
J plays a Poor House.
J reveals a Hamlet.

Based on a similar issue for Hermit (http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=2404.0), the issue may be that the most recent reveal overrides all of the original information from the game.

I reloaded game 7748919, which I had played. The reload number is "game #7775448."

On my last turn of the game, I played a Hermit and the log correctly shows:
J plays a Hermit.
J looks at 4 Hamlets, a Duchy and 2 Estates.

However, upon reload, the game shows this exact same text for what I looked at every time I played the Hermit.

For example,
Turn 4 - JW
J plays a Necropolis.
J plays a Hermit.
J looks at 4 Hamlets, a Duchy and 2 Estates.
J trashes a Hovel.
J gains an Ambassador.

Please hide spectator disconnections from the log when spectator chat is hidden.

In addition, please don't play a sound when a spectator disconnects, regardless of whether spectator chat is hidden.

Gladiator is the one card that gives a "pretend to think" option. Please remove this option or make it a toggle, such that players can turn off "pretend to think" themselves. Mic Qsenoch explains the reasoning well in the quote below.

It's more like, Gladiator goes against the pattern of revealing information, I think it's the only place in the interface where you can do this kind of thing, everywhere else the no choice things happen automatically and also there's no general way to pretend about Reactions. I don't personally want any of the pretending stuff, I think information leakage like that is almost never strategically significant in practice (it's of course easy to construct cases where it matters in principal). Gladiator isn't too onerous because it usually only happens a handful of times in a game.

Feature Requests / Update wording of Black Market
24 September 2017, 08:36:52 PM
Black Market can be confusing because the online implementation does not match the wording on the card. Ideally the text of Black Market would be updated to reflect the current functionality. The key items to change seem to be for the card text to indicate that you don't get to choose the order of the cards put back, and that it is shuffled after each cycle.

This mismatch has caused confusion for some people (here's one example).

Quote from: -Stef- on 25 November 2016, 02:25:58 PM
These are the rules for the Black Market deck we'll use on January 1st:
- the deck has 60 random cards you own.
- after every cycle it gets shuffled.
- the decks contents are unknown at the start of the game
- there won't be anything in the deck that would require additional setup.
-> You'll never find tournament, young witch, hermit, urchin, page, peasant, baker, trade route or pirate ship.
-> Only when the kingdom already has (potions, spoils, ruins), you might find those cards in the deck.
-> Cards that require extra mats (island, native village) are allowed in the deck.

Currently, players have the option to wait until being matched with someone who subscribes to cards. However, there is no option for new players who want to avoid being matched (for rated games) with someone who subscribes to cards, in order to avoid playing with many cards that they don't know. I'd suggest an option in matching that lets a player prefer (or require) not being matched to an opponent who is subscribed to cards that they aren't subscribed to.

An alternative or addition is to allow a player to prefer (or require) not to be matched only to an opponent who is subscribed to substantially more cards than they are, where that is defined as no more than one subscription tier higher. This would work well in conjunction with the "Copper" subscription option (to just Intrigue and Seaside) that I suggest here: http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=2185.msg8987#msg8987.  Then a new player who doesn't subscribe to any cards could allow matches against another player who has Intrigue and Seaside, which is an easier starting point for beginners than the current Silver subscription of Intrigue, Seaside, Prosperity, Cornucopia, Hinterlands, and Guilds.
