Interface Issues / Autoplay/multiple cards
02 October 2018, 06:45:37 PM
A recent update included a change where the cards related to another cards were shown. Unfortunately, these cards expand over the area with the Autoplay options, making it really difficult to change Autoplay settings. I hope this will be tweaked so it doesn't require as many attempts as is often the case now.

Other Bugs / Forced "mays"
30 December 2017, 02:25:45 AM
#10086145, turn 15
Start of round:
"You may discard a card to receive a boon"
"You may call a Transmogrify to upgrade a card"

I can't proceed without doing at least one of these things.

Interface Issues / Game end, log
14 December 2017, 10:18:58 AM
"Added game end notification"

I hope the next release will say "Removed game end notification". This just slows things down and risks wasting people's time. I often go to another window and work when a friend is playing a long turn, knowing I will be notified when it's my turn. But now all of a sudden I come back, puzzled my friend is so slow, only to see she has ended the game and that she has given up waiting for me to come back. If it isn't removed, at least make sure it's improved significantly. But I don't really see the need for this.

Also, one of the most recent updates have messed up the log. It keeps on going to the top, forcing me to scroll down to see the new activity. Very annoying.

Feature Requests / Malta's requests II
20 September 2017, 01:55:24 PM
Some of these were already posted in February, but I've updated the list.

*Customization. There are several adjustments we (I and the friends I play the game with) make in real life. It would be great if it became possible to tweak the setup more in the online version. Examples include:
Playing with max number of cards in the victory card supply piles even with two players.
Playing with more than 10 piles in the kingdom.
Requiring more than 3 empty piles for the game to end and only ending it when the top victory card supply is empty (i.e. empty Provinces don't end a Colony game)
Requiring a certain balance so the kingdom has both cheap and expensive cards.

*A way of communicating with friends in the game without being at the same table.

*Would be nice to set up some standard/prefereed options that don't disappear when you log out. It is frustrating having to set the select the same options over and over.

*Automatic copper play when Grand Market is available is annoying. I really liked that the old version didn't autoplay them, but that you could manually play them if you wanted to.

*Being able to select all actions with Inn would save a lot of time.

*Having to show Moat many times in a row in attack-heavy games is somewhat repetitive. An auto-moat feature perhaps?

*Undo is not as unstable as it used to be, but there are still situations where it doesn't work or even messes up the game.

Card Bugs / Black Market + undo
12 May 2017, 09:54:54 PM
I played a Black Market and drew cards, but it was the last action, so I requested an undo to play another card instead. That caused the game to get stuck. We could grant each other undos, but it just remained in the same place with no way to buy or skip the drawn cards. Trying to reconnect to the game led to permanent "connecting to gameserver" for me. Still waiting to see if I can ever play Dominion Online again...

Feature Requests / Malta's (many) suggestions
22 February 2017, 09:43:43 PM
Bugs/problems:
*Sometimes, the games just freeze permanently. I had one where I returned 8-9 hours later. It was still running and I had to resign.
*Tower is not displaying the points correctly on the scoresheet, though it does seem to add the correct number of points to the total score.
*Arena continues asking you to discard even after the last VP have been removed.
*With Market Square: "You thrash a Rats and...*DRAW INSTRUCTIONS*"
*Undo often goes back really far instead of just one step. Having to replay 3-5 turns is incredibly annoying and there's no guarantee the game will develop in the same way.
*Bought Colony in a game where it had Embargo on it and Hoard was in play. I was asked whether I wanted Curse or Gold first, though Curse was empty!
*January 28th: Everything normal when playing Dominion online from my Laptop. January 29th: When battles end, both vs. the computer and vs. other players, the game freezes, refusing to go to the win/loss screen. Haven't seen this on my regular PC.

Not true bugs, but stuff that could be adjusted:
*When you don't want to topdeck your copper with the first Herbalist, it's fairly pointless that the second and third Herbalist asks you.
*Why does Scheme insist on asking you to top-deck cards after the game is over?
*It's way too easy to click a treasure card by accident when you're trying to get a victory card or the other way around. A bit of space between them would help reduce the frequency of this problem.
*Sauna is currently a pain in the (you know what)! It is hard to use it right, easy to misclick (generating many undos) and slows the game down by an extreme amount if you have several of them, as it asks you over and over.

Requests:
*Customization of VP supply piles, number of cards in deck, number of decks needed to finish, card balance (so you can avoid games with purely expensive or cheap cards)
*The ability set up games to exclude individual cards, rather than entire expansions.
*Sounds when game expects input from you would help you avoid slowing things down accidentally.
*A way of communicating with friends in the game without being at the same table.
*Would be nice to set up some standard options that don't disappear when you log out.
