It does seem weird that you can get cards into your deck without ever gaining them, but the rulebook is clear on this point.

I'm having the same issue. (Modulo a slightly different leaderboard rating, of course)

For the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that it's taken me much longer than normal to get automatched. Today, I happened to click on the "familiar cards" listing and noticed that all of the expansions were grayed out. It turns out that my subscription had expired on the first of the month, and since the "wait for expansions" checkbox was checked, I wasn't getting a game until someone who did have expansions came on and looked for an automatch.

It would have been very helpful to get some sort of notification that I needed to renew. I wouldn't have minded getting an email to my personal account; at the very least, how about a message in my game inbox? Something along the lines of, "Hey, we see your subscription has expired. Would you like to renew?" with a link to the renewal page.

I didn't know that, thanks. It would still be nice to have the game just randomly choose one for me, though.

It is not true that in the Making Fun version you could only get one possession turn.  I can remember any number of games on MF where someone Throne Roomed or Kings Courted a Possession on me, and got to take two or three turns in a row with my deck.

US English generally prefers "traveler" with one L, British English prefers two. To me, the two L's is a better fit for the generally medieval theme of the game, since US English spellings date back to Noah Webster in the early 1800's.

Instead of having to pick one background in your options, it would be nice if you could cycle through them, and / or get a random one each game.
