So once upon a time i did well....then i didn't. I don't know how many games i get into and there are certain cards i can't buy. FIX THIS! I resign usually lately...i am so done with rating...just give me quality!

I notice in 3 player games when someone quits or gets 'replaced' the game becomes 'unrated'. Why? people quit all the time when they are losing and it is frustrating. Not sure if this happens with 2 player or not since it auto goes to the score screen.

It is also frustrating that when in a 3 player game and you get booted (in my scenario here it is computer/internet issues) and then you can't get back in. I think there should be a way you can replace a bot if it took your place...maybe like 3 times max to prevent slow rollers or something. PLEASE do something about this.

there really is a problem with abusive players on this site. Banning seems to not work very well with the mods of this site since banning can be for various reasons. I personally have been told i am high on the ban lists but it is because i don't allow undo's...not for using offensive, derogatory, or abusive language. but whatevs. This place needs a lot of work imo when it comes to user friendliness.

Also for the people interested in better table options I took a shot of an example of what i think is an easy way to create and look for tables. You can create private tables etc or even just create a table and invite others to join. It is easy to view the table options and at a glance see some other options that aren't necessarily a requirement for the game. The screen shot I took of a site that has a lot of card games. It is called Pogo.com and they have all kinds of games. I don't know how difficult it would be to implement something like this but here is a shot of it. The particular game i screen shot was a bridge game which is a 4 player game so there are always 4 seats. In Dominion i guess there could be 2 - 6. Anyway you can tell from the screen shot how easy it is to find out information about the game. The second window is after i clicked on the Information button on table 5 I think. Anyway just wanted to share some food for thought.

do you recall what device you played it on originally? Maybe it is another Android bug for example. I did just try it myself (on a laptop using google chrome) and took screen shots of before and after. It worked for me and here are the shots:

I understand Mission and Outpost not being played since they specifically state to take another turn and if the game is over there are no other turns to be had. Possession is all about the next person's turn and not yours, so I don't know why that would have any effect on Donate, since if you buy it when playing a Possession you take the debt but don't get the Donate effect since it isn't your turn. I just think when you buy it and the last card you should still be able to take the effect of it since it is supposed to happen after your turn and I would consider it technically a part of your overall turn (getting the effect). Maybe they should add a note to it to specify if game is 'over' you can still take the effect. That way Possession doesn't interfere with it etc.

I get it and it is what the card says, I just think it would be better if you could actually use Donate after last card is bought is all and was wondering what DonaldX's intention with it was. LOL

I think he comes on here occasionally (doesn't he or are they just rando's using his name) and maybe he will see this and adjust things if the intent was still to be able to play it after last card.

The Donate event says to trash as many cards as you want after your turn and you take 8 debt (or pay it). Does anyone know what the intent was after the last card is bought (either 3 pile, Province, or Colony) if you buy it? It seems to me that you should still be allowed to trash any cards you wish either to get rid of curses or silver/gold when bandit fort is in play, or wolf den to get rid of singles, or to just get some extra points if Tomb is on the board. Anyone know or have thoughts on this. I think it would make certain boards definitely more interesting it it was allowed.

I am actually pretty happy with how far you have come. You seem to handle glitches pretty quickly. I haven't tried it yet, but i think i recall you saying that you guys fixed the android issue of not being able to order cards.

I am having trouble thinking of all the things I would like, but here are a few:

One thing that bothers me is when there is a DONATE on the board and you buy the last province or 3rd pile (whatever) and you also hit DONATE it won't allow you to trash cards. I don't see why it wouldn't do that when it should. There are games with curses and also games where that event that gives you +1 VP if you trash a card is on the board. Anyway not sure what DonaldX intended with the DONATE option but I don't see why you can't trash after the last card is bought since it is still your turn...UPDATE: just went back and read the DONATE card and it does specify after your turn...would still be cool to be able to do. I would like to know what the initial intent was and if actually should really be allowed.

MF had an option where you could create your own deck and save it. I really enjoyed that and would make decks all the time (and save them) and try different things. Also then play them at various times. It would be nice if we had that option here (and not in the way you currently can).

Another feedback (and this isn't an issue for me since i get it): I was recently in a game with someone who tried to mint one of those coins that may start in your deck instead of a copper. He got upset when he couldn't do it and i tried to explain that there is not a supply of them so you can't mint them. He said something like 'well the card doesn't say from the supply it just says to gain a copy'. Anyway maybe in the next update of that card add the words 'from the supply'.

I notice sometimes that even though i have rated game checked, when i search it will somehow put me in an unrated game. Glitch? Or is something going on I am not aware of? UPDATE: I am not sure how the whole resigning/adding a bot thing works. Does adding a bot automatically make the game unrated? And what happens to the player who resigned or got made to resign ranking? If it automatically makes the game unrated then that I think this area needs some work and/or options or something.

UPDATE: Another issue i have is when in a 3 player game someone either resigns or gets made to resign so a bot goes in. Great. Then the other person might eventually resign and then it just says you tied the game with the other bot. Anyway this kind of ties in with the above but I think it would be nice if it could stay rated and you just play out the game with the two bots. Only once did it say that I won, but I think that was only because there was absolutely no way anyone else could have. Not sure if it then went to unrated though.

UPDATE: it would be nice to be able to add a note to your blacklist and friend list about the person. I have recently starting banning people who take a lot of time to play (and not necessarily slow rolling the game) or who seem to resign a lot. It would be nice to add a note so that if in the future the way the resigning etc gets fixed I can go back and unblock someone. Also, it would be nice to add notes on friends...for example there is a 'friend' who sometimes gets in my table and will consistently buy up all the cards in a pile or two and then the game ends. I would like to add a note to this person so that I can remember to adjust my playing based on what I figure they are going to do.

1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots - yes i would appreciate especially if i could re-download it if I got a new computer etc. I don't play with bots here online, but i did enjoy the campaigns on MF.

2. A bot with a setting for different play styles - sure if it could help teach improve my game. I am good at 3 player dominion but totally suck at 2 player.

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends. - never done a tournament but sure
7. Option to invite specific players to your table - yes, also i think it would be nice to just be able to advertise your game and what the settings are. Also if we could build & save decks that would be nice too (mentioned that above).
8. More translations (to what language?) - As long as you have English I am good.
9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/... - Don't care
10. Option to hide the log - only if we don't have to use it for anything
10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ... - sure especially on split piles
11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?) - Mentioned above
12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?) - N/A
13. Downloadable game logs - sure
14. Improved moderation (dealing with chat abuse, slowplayers, ...) - YES although i will say the blocking seems to have worked really well lately. I think most slow players i encounter now actually have comp issues rather than being jerks. Although I still do randomly encounter one. It would be nice if there was a 'report abuse' button.
15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion - N/A for me, but i think it would be nice for newcomers.
16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online. - uh sure.

I too wish the re-order would work on android devices. Very frustrating when you can't re-order cards on some boards.

Is it just me, or are most players less polite and chatty than formerly?  I do see frequent immediate resignations without explanation lately; the original poster is far from the only one.  I have usually assumed that, for some reason, the player in question has taken a dislike to me personally (although I don't know why), but the idea that one might resign simply because one doesn't like the board, at least without bothering to say so, strikes me as strange.  (Yes, some boards are a lot more fun than others, and certain cards (e.g., Rebuild, Possession) are particularly unpopular, but most of the immediate resignations I've seen lately haven't had obviously problematic boards.)
While good players (level 50+; I'm not good, and am unlikely ever to be) are less likely to do this, since it does hurt their rating, even good players seem less likely to bother with pleasantries such as "gg" lately.

Am I missing something?  Am I the one who's being (unconsciously) rude?  Or is this just the way things are lately?

For me it depends on the device i am playing on. if it is a phone or tablet and difficult to chat then i won't. If i am on a computer i might say something if i don't click on leave table too fast. Nothing personal about it for me...a lot depends on device and mood i guess.

I sent you a message with the game number but forgot to mention turn numbers. I did send a copy of our discussion log so that might help. Also i noticed that in one of the threads Rabid linked that they talked about a library being involved possibly. I don't recall it being in the hand each time the 'bug' happened, but it was an available card in the deck and we both bought at least one.

I just played a game where the Archive wasn't putting into your hand the treasures from the last round of Archive. The log would claim that it was there but it wasn't. It happened to both my opponent and I with coppers and a Charm. Anyone else having this issue?
