Support / game stuck when oponent quits.
22 August 2017, 06:28:27 PM
With last upgrade when opponent disconnected game became unresponsive, no resign prompt and game stuck after playing single card(after refresh.)

problem is that estate is action so I should get vp for buying estate.

In recent game I inherited market square to get easy vp from colonade. But buying estate doesn't give vp nor does buying market square if estate is in play.

Its even simpler as calling rc/cotr in middle of chain is strategic mistake. Reacting at end is better as same when you call rc but you don't have to due to extra information.
Similar with cotr as you should react only before storyteller/black market or if you don't have actions and finished tr chain.

Then using done is bad interface for rc, Better is to show options to call rc on active tr/action(possibly arrow on play area action/tr) or click on card if you don't want to call it, no extra click necessary.

Feature Requests / How to improve user interface.
05 January 2017, 08:46:18 PM

sion of this in f.ds features thread and this is expanded version, and some mf problems are already fixed

1. Use same login for forum and dominion, why should I create yet another account when I already filled all needed data?

2. Undo/confirm interface is clumsy and most of times not needed if you use better on.

2a) trashing without benefit: autotrash. Most of times its obvious what to trash. It should be done with one click on trash junk(junk list button) that selects curses,ruins,hovel,o.e.,estate,copper in that order. Undo/confirm is not needed when user clicks that button.

2b) Trash for benefit - confirm is not needed, undo suffices (except apprentice who gives information). For remodel variants make undo available until you select card you want to gain or you play next card in case of salvager/bishop as that action serves as confirmation. Ditto for prince.

2c) discard junk checkbox. If there is a mandatory discard card show this checkbox. It will automatically discard greens, estates, ruins,e.o,curse, hovel, copper so you don't have to wait for opponent millita when choice is obvious. This could also apply for s.pool and cartographer.

2d) hamlet. In previous post I wrote that best interface are buttons discard for action above each card, discard for buy below cards and clicking on card means playing it.

2e) Vault and quest, with no action button to discard to vault is almost always obvious and so is discard random 6 cards for quest as it doesn't matter. So is discarding only attack that you have.

2f) scrying pool, checkbox below sp to autokeep your action, and discard green/purple opposite for opponent as well as button to keep that copper... topdecked until end of turn.

3) reactions - always react checkbox below blue cards. User would check this to avoid waiting to reveal moat when its obvious that you always want to reveal it, ditto for mountebank discard curse checkbox and torturer to get curse when they are out.

4) scavenger/harbringer/herald topdecking is problematic. Its better to reuse kingdom piles to show how many cards are in discard and clicking.

5) make herbalist topdecking opt-in after playing it there could be botton use topdecking instead not use topdecking at end of turn to save a click

These were quite easy fixes. When I played on slower network I realized that autoplay would considerably speed it up. With it checked one would automatially play all nonterminals that don't require you to choose unless it would trigger reshuffle. That should be reasonably close to optimal play
