In poker discussion, "Villain" just means opponent, I assumed OP was using it in that sense.

I just saw this happen the other day, when I trashed an Overgrown Estate, Squire, and other cards with one play of Forge. I suspect this issue will be visible any time Overgrown Estate is trashed and there is any other "when trash" effect activated.

Game Log Issues / Re: Settlers

Bump. Also Bustling Village has a similar issue; it says "a card" instead of "Settlers".

If Alms was just un-buyable with any Treasures in play (like Grand Market with Coppers), that would be great.

Especially when you played a Crown in the Action phase, forgetting it would disqualify you from buying Alms, but then you chose not to play the Copper in hand to get up to $3 since you could get a $4-cost with Alms anyway, only to end up buying an Alms to gain nothing on your turn.

Yesterday I was playing a league match and my opponent requested an Undo. The last thing in the log was that they had just played a Hunting Party. I asked for clarification in chat, he said he wasn't trying to undo the Hunting Party, I granted the Undo, and he continued with his turn. Technically I still have don't know what he undid, but I would guess something like he hit "End Actions" by mistake.

When an Undo request is made, the decisions to be taken back should be clear. In my particular case, if the log had said something like "opponent ends the Action phase," I would have had all the info I needed. A more general solution that would work for cases where multiple steps are undone would be to list all the decisions that will be undone.

For example:

QuoteRequesting 2 undo steps:
* End Actions
* Play Nomad Camp

I'm not sure if it would be better to show the decisions with the latest at top, or bottom; at the bottom matches the order they happen and may be more intuitive. Either way, they could also include the decision number to make the chronology unambiguous:

QuoteRequesting 2 undo steps:
Decision 246 - Play Nomad Camp
Decision 247 - End Actions

Then it's clear that they want to undo to the point before they played the Nomad Camp.

6 months for some feedback is a great deal--thanks!

1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
I am not very interested in this.

2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
I probably would not use this much, may be interesting if some kind of API made creating your own bot to play against the other bots possible. (I realize this is a huge feature)

3. A strong bot.
See #2

4. Options for timed games
I'll probably pass on this.

5. Options for undo settings
I don't have any ideas for what these options would be, but this sounds like an idea with some potential.

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
This sounds like a double plus good idea.

7. Option to invite specific players to your table
Much better than hoping they are the first to join your table, though personally I tend to just use automatch.

8. More translations (to what language?)
N/A

9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...
The only thing that comes to mind for me here is better organization of cards in the played area.

10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...
Yes please!

10. Option to hide the log
I'm happy to always keep the log open.

11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?)
I don't have an Android device.

12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?)
I would be interested in playing on my iPhone/iPad. Admittedly I've never tried it out through the browser, I think I'll need to check that out.

13. Downloadable game logs
Yes please!

14. Improved moderation (dealing with chat abuse, slowplayers, ...)
Personal blacklisting I think is good enough for me.

15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion
To the extent that this idea can be separated from #16, it's not necessary for me.

16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online.
This would be good to add, especially to highlight how the interface works for more exotic/complex mechanics/interactions. As a "stretch goal" version of this, I could imagine a sort of how-to-play for each expansion to learn the new interface for new mechanics, but that does naturally overlap with #15 quite a bit.

Game Log Issues / Dominate

Dominate should show the VP tokens gained in the log.

If no Province is gained (such as during a Possession turn), the log says "failed to gain a Province." It would be nice if it said something like "failed to gain a Province, therefore not getting +9 VP."

How to Play / Re: Dominion Online Unofficial FAQ

Does Wait for Expansions under the matching option do anything?

Yes. I just tested this with an alt account that doesn't have any subscriptions; it'll get you a match with a table host that does have a subscription. My first game using that option was weirdly 10 Base cards plus 2 Landmarks--I'm guessing that had to do with what the host had marked as "familiar". The second game was a standard mix of cards from all the expansions.

I think it'd be worth adding to the FAQ something about this option. What's there now implies that a non-subscriber can only play with expansions if they join a table their friend specifically sets up, but you can actually be automatched with a random player that has the sets.
