That or have two buttons for it, one that says "Blacklist" and one that says "Report" so that they can differentiate between something they feel is reportable versus not wanting to play someone for reasons of personal taste.

Again both the buttons can do the same thing that the Blacklist button does now, but people will feel better about it. Someone requesting a report feature is really just asking for their feelings to be respected regarding the perceived abuse they've just received, and you look at accounts that get blacklisted too many times, so you're doing that.

If you just give them a special button they press for it, you solve the problem.

Please consider renaming the Blacklist button the "report" button, even if it doesn't do anything but Blacklist.
It will make people feel better AND it's more intuitive to people for what that function is actually used for.

I mean you guys use excessive instances of the blacklist feature to look at problem accounts anyway, right? So just call it "reporting" instead and you kill two birds with one stone. People feel like their feelings are valid and actionable, the system keeps working to improve their experience and newer players who aren't familiar with it know what to do when they don't like their opponent.

I don't think you need to add any extra features or change the way it works-- just rename this one so people like it more.

I'm totally with you on this.

While I understand playing your turn out if you think there's something impactful or insightful to be gained in doing so, finishing your opponent off quickly is just good sportsmanship, imo. Especially if it's not clear to your opponent whether or not you can win, don't play with our heart strings like that!
