Solution: Blacklist the player

Actually the solution is for the bug to be fixed. It does not matter what an user does, if he/she is able to abuse a bug, the bug itself should be fixed. I see the game is still active and no offer to resign the player appears 12 hours later.

I played rogue, the opponent disconnected while being given the option to choose what to trash. I've been waiting for at least 15 minutes for the game to force a resign, and it looks like it is stuck like that. I reconnected, so it is not my connection that is the issue.

Honestly I dont want to deal with players who undo 4-5 times during one game, it just makes me think that we are both working towards his win. If there is one thing I appreciate, it is the blacklist. I may me too demanding when it comes to 'etiquette', but I see no point in spending my time playing against runners or undoers.

I would say that no undos should be made if you drew one or more cards. Undos should not be part of a winning strategy.

I find it perfectly reasonable that somebody should do something, realize that they miscounted something, and then request to undo it, regardless of level, and especially when there is no new information revealed. Good on you for allowing them to, although why you should find it pathetic is beyond me.

I am glad that people post about these things here before I have to encounter them in a game.

Of course it is perfectly reasonable to play
1. forge -> 2 bishop
2.  draw 4 cards
3. realize that well maybe you should do something else
4. undo steps one by one
5. trash the forge.

That's how things work in life, you get to do shit, then rewind and pretend it did not happen   :-\

I find it pathetic when players request multiple undos to change strategy, especially when those players are around level 60. I was quite perplexed that a player first forged 2 bishops to get a province, then played 2 cards, only to request multiple undos, to use bishop on the forge.
Maybe there should be a limit on what undos can do.

Feature Requests / Removing account

The game should have a way for a player to remove his/her account. Even Facebook has it.

I was reporting the technique, although i see that particular individual is also present in the thread you posted. He/she is not going to bother me anymore, but probably there should be a form of penalty for such shenanigans.

1. There is an annoying bug I haven't been able to track down yet. When this happens, the problem is that your opponent does never connect to that game, so it won't start.

Could it be when the other player switched tabs? Occasionally I switch tabs when waiting for the game to find an opponent. Most of the times I remember to switch back and noticed that the game actually starts loading when i go back to the tab.
It seems unlikely that I always switch back in the very microsecond the server found me an opponent, so my guess is that the client is pausing communication with server while the tab is not active.

I see there is a new trend for sore losers. Blame the luck on the opponent and then close the browser tab, to force your opponent to wait for 5 minutes until they can be removed from the game.

Edit: I removed the names (Stef)

It was an honest, reasonable question. I'm still interested in hearing what your answer is.

It was not a question, it was an avalanche of questions.
Anyway, although i have already stated my position, here is again.
If i win the first game, i owe my opponent a rematch (not 5, not 10, I owe one rematch)
If i lose (especially if it a very close game) I kind of feel entitled to a rematch.

Conveying sarcasm as one word replies in an honest discussion is also tricky.

If you read the question that generated the one word answer, it might be more obvious.

I included a quote.
The "YES"? I guess sarcasm is a foreign language for most people...
