My apologies.  RIght after posting this, I found the thread by Stef explaining the rating system!

Is the basic algorithm for assigning ratings known?  I'm not looking for the exact details, but I'd like to understand things like:
• Is a difference of X points supposed to represents a probability of winning games, like ELO ratings?
• How sensitive is it?  As you play more games, does it get harder to move your score due to averaging, or does it eventually "forget about" old game?
• Presumably it moves more quickly if you win against a stronger opponent or lose against a weaker opponent?
• What is the range of the ratings?

Interested in whatever can be shared on this.  Thanks.

Understand it's got a technical reason behind it, but it would be really nice to get this fixed soon.
