You can create a table directly (using the option under the "new table" tab). Then just select the "Nocturne preview" option, and add a bot.

In my opinion, this is related to the fact that you cannot play the new cards against bots. There are a lot of people who just want to check out the new cards and they are now forced to player Multiplayer matches. Depending on their device it is also not easy to use the chat (i.e. if you're playing on mobile or a tablet)

You can play the Nocturne preview cards against bots. Create a table, select "Nocturne preview," and add a bot.

There's currently no interface that shows the cards placed on your Crypts, or your Archives. For Crypt in particular, it's very hard to tell when it will run out of treasures without scrolling many turns back through the log. Please add an interface that shows this.

How to Play / Re: Welcome to Dominion Online!

This post and/or the FAQs should mention the "reload game" feature. Relevant information includes:

Currently, to see the game log after the game, you'll need to use the "reload game" feature using the game ID. You can look up the game numbers for your rated games here: http://dominion.lauxnet.com/scavenger/

Instructions for using the reload game feature can be found here

Note that if you aren't a paid subscriber then the only games you will be able to reload in this way are ones with only base set cards (you can only reload a game if you have subscribed to all of the cards used in that game).

Unfortunately, to figure out exactly what happened at the end of the game, or see the game log after the game, you'll need to use the "reload game" feature using the game ID. You can look up the game numbers for your rated games here: http://dominion.lauxnet.com/scavenger/

Instructions for using the reload game feature can be found here

I reloaded game 7748919, which I had played. The reload number is "game #7775448." The text for which cards were revealed by Poor House is incorrect when I reload the game. Every time that I play Poor House, the reload indicates that I revealed a single Hamlet. I noticed the same issue with Crossroads in a different game upon reloading.

For example, for Poor House: Turn 7: J draws a Village, an Ambassador, a Hamlet, a Necropolis and a Poor House.

Turn 8 - JW
J plays a Necropolis.
J plays a Poor House.
J reveals a Hamlet.

Based on a similar issue for Hermit (http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=2404.0), the issue may be that the most recent reveal overrides all of the original information from the game.

I reloaded game 7748919, which I had played. The reload number is "game #7775448."

On my last turn of the game, I played a Hermit and the log correctly shows:
J plays a Hermit.
J looks at 4 Hamlets, a Duchy and 2 Estates.

However, upon reload, the game shows this exact same text for what I looked at every time I played the Hermit.

For example,
Turn 4 - JW
J plays a Necropolis.
J plays a Hermit.
J looks at 4 Hamlets, a Duchy and 2 Estates.
J trashes a Hovel.
J gains an Ambassador.

Please hide spectator disconnections from the log when spectator chat is hidden.

In addition, please don't play a sound when a spectator disconnects, regardless of whether spectator chat is hidden.

It would be great if a well-formatted log that showed deck composition turn by turn was available after the game to anyone with the hyperlink, regardless of subscription (like the log prettifier for the previous online implementation).

How to Play / Re: Dominion Online Official FAQ

QuoteWhat's the point of making someone my friend?  You can see if a player is online if you mark them as a friend, via the Matching screen.  There you can also join a table that a friend has set up.

You should also mention that a friend can always join your table, regardless of rating restrictions.

One consequence of this is that, even though there isn't an option to have a "friends-only" table yet, setting min and max relative rating to zero can effectively do that.

Have you tried to set "Min relative rating" and "Max relative rating" both to zero in the "Advanced Options" after creating a new table? For me, that works fine and only my friends can join as players.

Feature Requests / Re: Request: Copper subscription

But the utility of a copper subscription is limited.  Basically, it only works in limiting the card selection when you get matched with someone with a copper or no subscription.  Even players who get the silver subscription have the problem of getting matched against a gold subscription and getting lots of unfamiliar cards.

You're correct. I had a separate and different proposal for a feature so that players who have not subscribed to any cards can avoid games against Gold subscribers, Silvers can avoid Golds if they prefer, etc.  This other feature would be important as well.

But I assume that at lower ranking levels, a substantial percentage of games are played by players who have not subscribed.  So a substantial percentage of games among lower-rated players feature only cards from the base set, and a Copper subscriber would get their preferred sets a substantial amount of the time, at least until their ranking improved.

Gladiator is the one card that gives a "pretend to think" option. Please remove this option or make it a toggle, such that players can turn off "pretend to think" themselves. Mic Qsenoch explains the reasoning well in the quote below.

It's more like, Gladiator goes against the pattern of revealing information, I think it's the only place in the interface where you can do this kind of thing, everywhere else the no choice things happen automatically and also there's no general way to pretend about Reactions. I don't personally want any of the pretending stuff, I think information leakage like that is almost never strategically significant in practice (it's of course easy to construct cases where it matters in principal). Gladiator isn't too onerous because it usually only happens a handful of times in a game.
