A duration action that started your turn in play was not "played" for the purpose of Conspirator.

Even if you resign, your opponent can always continue the game against a computer player, as of a recent update: http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=604.msg7060#msg7060

QuoteVersion 1.2.7
resigning with >1 human opponent automated unrated continuation with a bot replacement; the original game is lost by the resigning player with a small additional rating penalty; both other players won
resigning with 1 human opponent no automated continuation, but the non-resigning player gets a button to play on versus a bot on the end-of-game screen.

Game #4887000 on tokyo. I had so many unique cards in play (Black Market game) that it covered the window to type a card name when I played Wishing Well, so I had no way to name the Goons I had just bought out of the Black Market.

I played Coin of the Realm with Counterfeit. The game log gives me two lines for "call coin of the realm" even though there should be only one Coin on my tavern mat. I call Coin. Then I have the option to call it again, even though it's no longer on the Tavern mat. And calling it again does give me extra actions.

Game #4874307 on oregon.

I'd really like to have the option to setting up a table with a remark; got all expansions or something. (btw; i've set the min rating level in matching at +10, and max at +100. Shouldn't I be matched with more experienced players then?...

If higher ranked  players haven't changed their default settings, they won't match with you if you're more than 10 levels below. The way to get more higher ranked players is to set your minimum equal to something like your own level minus five.

AI bugs / Re: Cannot Mint a Spoils

I rarely see Bandit Camp in real-life games, so I do not know if this is a bug, or if there is some rule that makes it impossible to Mint a Spoils.  The game did allow me to Mint a silver, so it's a specific bug, and not a global inability to use Mint.

My presumption has been that Mint can be used to gain a copy of any treasure (assuming that there's one left in the supply, natch).

Spoils says that it's not in the Supply. When you gain a card, you can only gain cards from the Supply unless stated otherwise. So Bandit Camp can gain Spoils, but Mint and Workshop cannot.

You should PM Stef so that he can follow up and punish the abusive player. Needing to register on this forum to send a PM so that Stef can investigate ideally wouldn't be necessary, though. Hopefully a way to flag these games from within the client itself will be added. Other useful additions would include making it harder for these jerks (requiring email confirmation to create account so that entire emails can be banned, or IPs, etc.), and a smarter timer that recognizes playing a copper every 3 minutes as abuse.

Card Bugs / Re: Chariot Race and Debt Cards

If I reveal a Silver and you reveal a City Quarter, neither costs more than the other so Chariot Race won't trigger (regardless of which of us has which card on top). Looks like it's being done correctly.

I had the same problem, on Chrome. A "hard refresh" (Ctrl+F5 on Chrome, or Shift+F5 depending on browser) got it to go away for me.

AI bugs / Bot Doesn't Know Not to Play Ambassador
17 June 2017, 09:37:28 PM
Lord Rattington had 3 cards because I had played Margrave.

Turn 18 - Lord Rattington
L plays an Ambassador.
J gains a Gold.
L plays 2 Golds.
L buys and gains a Gold.
L draws 5 cards.

Game #4476008 on tokyo.

Same here. Game #4444266 on frankfurt.

I bought out all remaining provinces, and the game should have ended. But instead it got stuck on "Waiting for JW" after reshuffling as if the game was continuing. The recent log:

J shuffles their deck.
J draws an Estate, a Duchy, an Expand and 2 King's Courts.
Reshuffling the Black Market deck.

Fortunately, I was able to resign the game (that the server should have recognized I had already won) and move on.

There does not appear to be a way to differentiate between durations that are about to be discarded versus those that aren't with Scheme. Noticed by Mic Qsenoch in a recent league match - he had 2 Caravans in play from the previous turn and played another one on his current turn as his first action. At the end of the turn he wasn't able to select the Caravans that started the turn in play separate from the one he played as his first action of the turn.

Edit- appears this is known: Scheme allows you to select a card that is not being discarded (also doesn't let you choose which instance to topdeck when stacked). http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?topic=1226.0

Feature Requests / Re: Ban n Cards in Rated Games
03 June 2017, 06:29:11 AM
What about: List one: Indicate up to three of your most disliked cards.
List two: Indicate any other disliked cards

Cards in any players' three most disliked cards never get used for filling in random kingdom events/cards. In addition, cards that are in all players' set of disliked cards never get used.

There is a table option to turn off this feature for tournaments and the like, but games found through any kind of matching always have the feature on.

For the joy of finishing out the game, the best option if someone drops is to replace them with a bot. The bot may decide the game between the other two players due to its decisions; there's no avoiding that, it's in the nature of 3-player games. You could have the player drop out completely - or have a bot that just passed - but that's not finishing a 3-player game, that's playing a 3-player game that turned into a messed-up 2-player game. I have played that game! Having a different player (in this case a bot) take over is better.

For ratings, you each beat the person who left, and we can no longer fairly evaluate you vs. the person who stayed; the ratings part of the game is over. The important thing is to not make people unhappy here, rather than to try to get all the data we can. You scored a win vs. someone and then played out the rest of the turns for fun. If you concede too at that point, well okay, you didn't play out the rest of the turns for fun.

And if it's a 3-player game and both other players resign, there should be an option for the remaining player to continue against two bots, just for the fun of finishing the game.

If 5 cards is considered too drastic, I propose 3 cards as an alternative. For me, 5 cards isn't necessary, and I suspect other people have a small number of "most disliked" cards as well.
