AI bugs / Re: unable to play coins???

If you bought villa but did not play it, you enter the buy phase with no buys remaining, so the phase ends before you can purchase anything.

The physical and digital games are two separate things. There isn't a promo code.

It has been shot down a bunch of times by Donald x. You can search "identical starting hands" for a bunch of discussions about it.

I was told when I first started playing on this forum that we could report abusive players to administration. I was told to take Screen Shots of the abuse an administration would deal with the abuser.  However, I can find no where to email Dominion administrators and I don't want to put the screen shots up on the forum as the language and abuse was extremely offensive.

Can you please let us know where to get in touch with Dominion Administration to send screen shots of abusive players?

You don't need to report abusive players. Just blacklist them. 99 times out of 100, the offending user has already been reported multiple times or is already on my radar.

Use the "New Table" button to create a table. In the settings for that, you can specify which sets you would like to play with.

QuoteI think it's reasonable to get more information, and I certainly don't think anyone is faulting the user for that request. However, because the message does indicate the number of steps, it's also not a game-breaking issue that would justify this line:

"what other choice to I have to thwart cheaters and poor sports other than quitting this game altogether?"

Sorry, but it's never the supplier's decision what is justifiable from the perspective of the customer (unless you're Apple). Sure there's bad customers, and firing them (or banning toxic players) can help increase your revenue. However, a patronizing attitude towards your customers (particularly by blaming them instead of helping them) is a great way to hemorrhage revenue and brand value.

Luckily, I just happen to really like Dominion and won't be going anywhere soon, save for some egregious error on the part of the maintainers.

I don't work for shuffleit

Read the undo request next time. If it is skiing to take back more than a couple of steps, it's probably not a good idea to accept it.

You are not getting someone banned for blacklisting them. The # of blacklists is only a data point. Please don't let this be a moral quandary for you. Blacklist whoever you don't want to play with and leave it at that.

Reserve cards didn't exist when Native Village was created and the NV mat is separate from the Tavern Mat, so it probably isn't going to happen.

Ok, that's not his job. But that would be mods' one.
Either mods declare that insulting is allowed, or mods ban all people that do not abide strictly to the rules.
The two cannot exist simultaneously.

I don't have a system or the time to know about every single instance of this. I'm a volunteer. Right now, users can simply blacklist people they don't want to play with. It isn't a perfect system but the system does work. My advice is not to worry about awful people being awful to others when you can put them in your personal blacklist and never see them again.

Ok. gotcha. thanks.

How do these people get banned? I mean, how does a moderator know when and who to ban? I got blacklisted supposedly three days ago for not granting undos. Am I in trouble because I'm ons someone's list? That seems abusable.

Are we allowed to post cheater-threads?

Bans happen based on compounding evidence or me/Stef just happening to know someone is a bad user. You aren't going to get banned from one person blacklisting you. Do not post threads publicly naming anybody. Just use the blacklist feature if you encounter someone you do not want to play with (for any reason) and move on. It isn't your job to ensure anyone meets justice.

Please blacklist these users instead of worrying about the why. It isn't worth the stress.

Hi, I want to report user Melkor, he said he hoped my kids die of Aids just starting the game and then slowplayed for 45 minutes to finally quit. That behaviour is unacceptable and deserves punishment. Thanks.

Please resign and use the blacklist feature instead of playing out these kinds of games. Thanks.

For what it's worth, I have already banned this user several times. He keeps coming back, and until the client has a better way to deal with him, not much can be done.
