I've now played quite a number of games and I find the card borders for me are insufficient.  Rather than just post a "Please change this"  I thought I'd do a poll to see if it's just me.

I've given users 2 votes for this poll.  I'm not colorblind, but thought those who are can weigh in on the last item.

This has been reported numerous times.  Prior to posting I'd recommend doing a quick search using the magnifying glass at the top to do a quick search to make sure the issue isn't a duplicate.

In addition it would be nice if moderators were able to either close duplicate threads posting a link to the one they are using for tracking or merge them together.  The number of posts that are duplicated mean a much busier forum then is necessary.

Thanks for posting it though.  It's important that bugs are reported.

Interface Issues / Re: Options: visibility of numbers

Just encountered this one myself.  Set Max Unfamiliar cards to 15, but it displays 1.

If you are getting base-only games from good match despite being subscribed to more cards, go to your familiar cards tab and check if all cards are marked as familiar (not greyed out)

I'm not trying to be flip here, but as I read through the forums I've seen this answer a huge number of times.  Usually when you have to explain the same thing over and over it's a good indication that the current implementation isn't working well.  Perhaps the whole familiar cards approach needs reworking?  Or the default values for choosing cards ie min/max unfamiliar cards needs reworking?  Or maybe at first login walk players through all the options with explanations.... kind of a custom vs quick setup approach.

Sample size of 1 here but I do think the UI is not very UF

I'm constantly missing actions or reactions because they appear in the logs instead of the play area
I'm constantly having to look at the logs to have any idea what's going on in the game.  I should be able to follow a game without ever needing to refer to the logs
I'm frequently catching myself almost clicking the wrong treasure or vp card.  Perhaps have the money on one side and the vp on the other?  Not sure how to fix this one
I find it difficult to select the right cards from discard, trash etc...  the right click adds extra clicks and increases the chance I misclick.
The size of everything feels smaller than the MF interface which was criticized for poor use of space.  I'm not sure how there seems to be less free space with this version and yet everything feels smaller (to the point where I have a hard time seeing what I'm doing especially on a small screen)
The lack of feedback in terms of sounds and player actions has apparently reduced my skill level.  I frequently miss that the game is about to end and am surprised when it does
It's not clear why games end. It frequently takes me some time staring at the end screen to know who won and why the game ended

I know this is a different company and a different application of the same game, but I find it astounding that UI complaints that were levelled against Goko and MF have been repeated here.  I know it will get better, but as I've stated previously I think many of us were completely surprised that a new implementation of the game would take a step backwards in usability and functionality.

Please take the above comments and work with them to keep moving this forward.  I'm cautiously hopeful that by the end of 2017 this app will be better than the MF was at the end of 2016, but given how far behind the launch was from my, possibly unrealistic, expectations and the lack of any clear public forecasts or timelines I wouldn't be surprised if some of the lower priority items are still outstanding.

Good luck!

There also doesn't appear to be a way to logout when finished which could increase the need for kicking and may make those security conscious people nervous.

You log out by closing the tab.
(or by severing the connection in some other way)

I've seen that, however speaking for my wife, that isn't sufficient.  She is slightly paranoid about logging out of things and needs a confirmation that it has been done.  It might be a minor change, but from a security perspective is something I think should be added.

Thanks!

I have not received my login information to transfer my existing account - how do i find this information.

According to similar threads you should be seeing the confirmation email within the next 24 hours.  If that doesn't happen I'd suggest sending a Private Message to one of the moderators.

Good luck!

I think you missed the point that he said he registered by accident thinking he needed to do that to post here.

I found that option, thanks for mentioning it. It seems the host has to choose that option for every game. That seems cumbersome. As a non-host would I even know if that was selected or not? Right now I can't host because I can't confirm my email.....

Agreed.  I'd like to set no spectators once.  Especially when I'm just playing bots.  I'm not a big fan of people just popping into my games.  It's just my personal preference.

I have been waiting for 2 days for my email to get confirmed.  Is there anyway to expedite this process?

Sorry, I'm afraid there isnt.

Could they not be sent out manually for those requesting?  It seems to me that those people are more likely to use them right away vs those who have not sent in user names.  Perhaps someone not involved with trying to fix the problem could be assigned this task of manually sending out the conversion emails.

How about an option to do the Kick when this occurs rather than a notification that someone is "Already Logged In" and back to the login screen?

Alternatively, make the kick more visible.  Being next to the Forgot Password as a link means people like me filter it as unnecessary information.  The first few times I ran into this I didn't see the Kick and actually had to go to the other device in another part of the house and log it out so that I could then go back and log in.  Based on the feedback I'm seeing on this I don't think I'm the only one who didn't see the Kick option until reading the forum.

There also doesn't appear to be a way to logout when finished which could increase the need for kicking and may make those security conscious people nervous.

As seen in the attached image the selection of Action cards with the Inn is problematic.

I'm playing on a 32" TV at 1920 x 1280 resolution via Chrome in full screen with all options set to No in game.

The action cards in the discard pile are tiny and very difficult to use properly without right clicking first.  The Action/Buy/Coin status overlaps these cards.  They also show all cards in the discard pile even though you can only select actions.  Perhaps an option to hide non-action cards here so that they will be easier to see/pick.

Goko, Shuffleit, and Making Fun have all encountered the same basic mistake.... They over promised and under delivered.  In this case expectation of users was not appropriately set prior to release causing the backlash in comments you are seeing here.  It amazes me that given all of the harsh criticism levelled at Making Fun for some of their decisions I see the exact same mistakes being made here.  In my opinion, and that's ultimately what these boil down to... opinions, is anybody not directly involved with the development of this new version was expecting something that maintained functionality at launch not a step backwards with promises of future features sometime in 2017.  Given what was available at launch I wonder if they will even meet those deadlines.  We all know how awful software companies are at meeting deadlines.  Hopefully in the long run it will be better, but in the short term expect people to be frustrated.  Rather than ask for patience it would be far better to appologise and provide detailed timelines and updates as it becomes clear those deadlines will be missed.

I've noticed this with other cards as well.  When playing on the desktop I can right click to see the card but then have to remember where it was to left click there.  Not a usable interface for these types of situations.
