I think that when you reveal cards the display still counts them as being in your deck. It's not just Ironmonger or with 1 card in your deck. I got unwanted reshuffles several times before I figured this out. I wish they'd fix this, too.

What should happen: you draw 5 cards; opponent plays Soothsayer, putting a Curse in your discard pile and causing you to draw a 6th card; oppo's turn ends and your Summoned Bishop is played. So at this point you have a played Bishop and 6 cards in your hand. Is this what happened? If so, that is correct.
My oppo played Soothsayer, giving me a curse and a copper
Quote from: allanfieldhouse on 04 February 2017, 02:58:44 PMPlease don't mischaracterize what I said. I did not vote that there should be no poll - just questioned whether this was the place for it. I support anyone's right to start a poll if they want to.
I vote that we don't have a poll.
Current totals:
Poll: 1
No Poll: 2
Quote from: Funhaver on 03 February 2017, 06:20:32 AMThanks Funhaver, your post was helpful to me -- it reminded me that I once saw a poll here somewhere so I went looking (normally I just click on "most recent posts" and keep up there) and saw it is very easy to create your own poll. Just go to Shuffle iT Forum >> Feature Requests and right next to New Topic is New Poll, where a poll can easily be built. If that will get more traffic than here is another question - although a poll where people can easily vote is likely to get more responses than one where they have to type in alpha or delta, I would think.Quote from: ffejselur on 03 February 2017, 05:14:57 AMThanks Jeff! A poll is the best way I can think of to gauge user interest, which is one of the big unknowns surrounding this proposed feature (the other being programming time). If you can think of another location where the poll will get a larger sample size, let me know; this just seemed like the place to start.
Appreciate the effort, Funhaver, but DXV, the creator of Dominion, has both rejected this feature and asked that this thread be closed -- so is this the best place to start a poll?
Quote from: Donald X. on 31 January 2017, 12:01:37 PMI recommend not constructing sentences like "Every single poster in this thread acknowledges..." Speak for yourself! We'll speak for ourselves.Love the anti-narcissism recommendation! Hope some people are paying attention.
Quote from: Donald X. on 31 January 2017, 12:01:37 PMGreat. Now do you think you could kill my headache, being you? That would be awesome!
I also have a good, lucky feeling that I can kill this potential feature, being me.
Quote from: Hertz Doughnut on 26 January 2017, 05:32:48 PMMaking two purchases without knowing what your opponent(s) is doing doesn't affect the game that much.is just not true. If you like it though, hey, enjoy.
Quote from: LibraryAdventurer on 24 January 2017, 01:52:45 AMI don't understand why there are so many tables that appear to be waiting for a player, then I join, and the host never starts the game. Why do people create a table and then go AWOL? (It does notify them if a player joins their table doesn't it?)I don't know if this accounts for all scenarios but consider this: someone (who maybe only wants to play bots) creates a table. They decide to take a break. From their perspective, why close the table when it's easier to come back whenever they want and pickup from wherever they left off? Why wouldn't they create a table then go AWOL? Most of the time, how would they even know if someone tried to join their table (if they even wanted someone to) if they're away from their device or have the sound muted while doing something else? I'm sure better sorting and labeling will improve this over time.
Quote from: Mick on 23 January 2017, 06:33:21 PMI totally agree with you, Mick. I was first exposed to Dominion IRL as a 3-4 player game, and playing with only 2 seemed like a letdown. However, at least among the powers that be here we are in the minority at best (considered 2nd class citizens at worst). First, the graphic set up is oriented toward the 2 player game, showing the opponent's hand cards face down fanned out 1 by 1 where you can't even see the number of cards in their hand for >2 players (like you could with MF). Second, the buttons Quick, Good and Bot Match assume a 2 player game. They don't say "2 player Quick Match" etc., do they? And finally, consider this post by Stef on f.ds:
3 player is really Dominion's sweet spot
