* I don't really want a leaderboard to be important. In my opinion, the only good reason to have a ranking at all is to easily get good matches in the automatch. If you feel a need to find out who is best, play some tournaments.
I read this a little while ago, and it has been sticking with me. This gives me a really bad feeling. At best, its poor wording and poor community relations. At worst, this is not going to be the game that the consumer wants to see, its going to be the game that Stef wants to make.

Either way, this makes me very leery of even investing my time here, let alone my money. Lets set aside the fact that leaderboards are very important to me for now, all of this comes off very unpolished and unprofessional, like a hobbyist with no idea how to run a business wanting to make a game.

/sigh

1. There will be leaderboards!
2. The gloss is not as important as a functional game. Without a functional game, all the pretty sparkles and graphics in the world aren't going to make the game look good. A 100% working game is the top priority, but it will look better soon.

I can tell you right now, this is already a better launch than MF and especially Goko. The interface is already much much better than MF (even if it doesn't look as polished), and the polish will come.

- If you want to maximize a card and read what's written on it, right-click it. Left clicking purchases the card (in the buy phase).

- There are still some issues with touch screen devices: right-click may not always work and dragging cards (e.g. Cartographer; Coin token slider) may cause difficulties as well. Please give us feedback about that if it's not working on your device.

I am playing on a regular Macbook Pro and can't figure out how to right-click. The usual ctrl-click does not work, and neither does alt-click or option-click.

Control-click works just fine for me with the trackpad.

People just need to relax. The interface is already way better than Making Fun's, and it's only going to get better moving forward.

So remove the bold, or no? It was like that in 1st edition.

Alright, I shrunk the text slightly for some of the worst offenders. There is a certain card that is just a complete pain in the rear, and it just so happens to be one of my least favorite Dominion cards: Doctor. There's no real way to make it look good and also make it not hug the edge. I might try to tinker with that one more later on and just try a completely different format.

Also:
- the Alchemy expansion icon is too big.
- P-Stone is also missing coin icons up top
- Treasury has the dividing line now, but it doesn't look very well formatted, the line is very close to the bottom text, and the bottom text is spilling onto the bottom banner
- in general, a few cards have text spilling onto the bottom or side banners

-Can't do
-Can't do
-I think it looks fine, but I will try shrinking the text a bit and we'll see how that goes
-I'll try the same for those other cards as well

Alright, everything reported to this point has been fixed alongside a couple of tiny format changes for aesthetic reasons (mainly Overgrown Estate and Wild Hunt) has been submitted to Phillip and will be established ASAP.

I didn't even know a dividing line with princess was a thing. Done.

I completely reformatted Sacrifice, so I must have screwed it up then. Fixed!

Not something I have control over, sadly. It's the same with Dame Josephine on the bottom with the attack types and whatnot.

Card Texts problems / Dominion Card Texts v2.0 Out!
19 December 2016, 07:20:06 PM
I have now finished and revised all of the texts up to this point. Before, in version v1.0 (not the official Philip & Stef versions for Dominion as a whole, but my own little label for simply the text), I simply finished up the cards, and did not have a consistent format. Now, they should look similar or even better than the official 2nd Edition versions of the cards in most to all cases.

I see nothing else obvious to revise at this point, but if there is anything else you see that is inconsistent, be sure to let me know and I will be happy to go and change it!

You may not immediately see the changes, but when Philip updates the version it should be good to go!

Which I mean to say is, I cannot access the Wiki with my Internet ISP anymore because it is blocked, so I cannot check myself.  :-[
