I'm sorry to hear that for both of you. I'll ask the developer if there were any payment attempts from those accounts that reached him but that got turned down for whatever reason.

Thanks for the detailed report, AndrewNotEric.

I think the effect of the host is that if you preselect cards to be in the game, that the host needs to own them. Another thing may be that the hosts' upper and lower card level must be consistent with the preselected cards.

For unclear reasons, since some time the game only gives that "internal error" instead of a more detailed error message.

It has been resolved roughly 1h after Potato's message. I assume renewal of one (or more) domain names was forgotten.

I'm not sure what exactly had happened, but the game is working again now. While certificates were renewed in December, I guess at least one domain name was not :-(

Yes, there was a ca. 15min outage at that time. It ended I think 2 or 3 minutes after you posting.

Was this inquiry happening at end of December, which would explain your subscription vanishing around that time? Also note that from what you quoted it isn't apparent what the outcome of the inquiry was. Maybe during it the paymet got frozen or something?

However, the behaviour you experienced is correct. Unless called out by by name (and exceptions for some special piles like Spitits and Loot), you cannot gain a non-Supply card. The 2nd Edition base rulebook says



Since non-Supply cards are not present for a few initial expansions, it's easy to forget about the "Supply" restriction. Expansions with non-Supply cards usually say that they can't be gained except by effects explicitly naming them. Here is the part from the Menagerie rulebook:



It uses Menagerie expamples, but what it says about Falconer and Displace applies equally to Mirror.
