I have the feeling different problems are mixed up in this thread, mostly the Spinning Castle problem for the latest posters, which can be solved as follows.

In order to get out of the Spinning Castle problem, you need to open a private(Firefox) or incognito (Chrome) window , go to dominion.games, enter your Name and Password, but don't click "Login". Instead, click on "Kick and Resign" (small font below the "Sign Up" button). Then you should be able to login normally (no need for private/incognito tab).

[Put a card from your hand onto your deck.]

It means you put a card on Top of your Deck. An example would be Artisan:

Gain a card to your hand costing up to $5.
Put a card from your hand onto your deck.

In this case, the card comes from your hand, but sometimes it comes from other places.

I guess it should be done for auto-matched games and the "Start Game" button. But we have to remember that players not familiar with cards often use this time to read the cards they don't know, which can take time.

That is a consequence of the wordings of the respective cards. It ultimately boils down there being a subtle timing difference between effects that trigger when you buy a card, and effects that trigger when you gain a card.

The card texts, with emphasis on the important phrases:

Haunted Woods:
Until your next turn, when any other player buys a card, they put their hand onto their deck in any order.
At the start of your next turn: +3 Cards

Hovel
When you buy a Victory card, you may trash this from your hand.

Cemetery

When you gain this, trash up to 4 cards from your hand.

As you can see, both Haunted Woods and Hovel trigger when something is bought. That's why they work "at the same time", which you observed: You can choose the order between trashing the Hovel or topdecking due to Haunted Woods.

In contrast, Cemetary works when it is gained, which can happen by buying, of course, but also via other ways.

The important part is that those "when you buy" effects happen completely before any "when you gain" effects for the same card bought! That's written down in the Hinterlands rulebook:

Many cards in Hinterlands do something "when you gain" or "when you buy" that card or another card.
• When you buy a card, you first buy it, then gain it. So, for example, if you have Haggler in play and buy Embassy, you first resolve Haggler's "when you buy" ability, then gain Embassy, then resolve Embassy's"when you gain" ability.

That sounds a little strange and is a subtle difference, that you ran across. In your example, just buying the Cemetery caused Hovel and Haunted Woods to trigger. You didn't gain the Cemetery yet, so Cemetery's own ability hasn't triggered yet, so the game doesn't offer it to you. No matter how you choose, you will have topdecked your remaining cards in hand due to Haunted Woods before you actually gain the Cemetery.

When you do so, it isn't really ginving you something to do (you have no cards in hand), so the option isn't even presented.

I haven't heard anything similar via this or other channels. It seems like something between you and the server(s) is not working as it should. Did you change anything recently in your local network (added/removed WiFi, or something similar)?
