That's not a bug, it's the correct behavior.

The Buy phase has kind of 2 sub-phases. First you play Treasures or do other things to generate coins (like spending Coffers). When you start buying something, the second sub-phase starts, where you spend the coins (or Potions) to buy things.

You can't go back from the second sub-phase to the first sub-phase (unless you have an affect that lets you go back to the Action phase explicitly, like Villa or Cavalry, where another Buy phase starts afterwards).

This is spelled out in the rulebook of the 2nd edition base game as follows, at the end of the explanation how the buy phase works:

QuoteYou cannot go back and play more Treasures after buying a card; first play Treasures, then buy.

So, that's why could couldn't play the Platinum/Copper in your game. you had started buying things, in this case the Gamble event, so could no longer player Treasure. The base game does not contain Events, so its rulebook doesn't mention them, but it applies equally to them as well.

A few unscrupulous players use some automated tool to remind them of when the time limit for their next click is about to run out, so they can deliver it a few seconds earlier. This is sometimes referred to as a "timer bot".

I assume the meaning of the line in chat was to accuse you of slowplaying, meaning to manually or automatically wait a long time between clicks in order to provoke the other player to resign because they don't want to waste their free time waiting.

Yes, the lack of an easily visble game number in the end-of-game screen has been commented on quite often. You usually can scroll up the chat window to find the green messages, telling you when a game begins, including the game number.

Generally, you know already during the game if you want to report a player, so you can just write it down during to be used later. But I agree, having it easily accessible on the end-of-game screen would be much better.

For whatever reason, the links that are supposed to work "forever" don't seem to, I just created the above now.

For your immediate problem, there are some possibilities:

1) You inadvertently clicked somewhere in the options for automatch to change the settings. For maximum chance to find a match, "Player count" should included "2P", "Rated games" should inclided "Rated", "Min/Max Rating" should not be 0 but be -5/5 or larger and "Extra Menagerie" should include "No".

2) Your subscription ran out recently. You can check if the "Expansions" line in the autoplay options simply says "Yes" with a remaining day count (then you have a subscription to at least some expansions), or something else. You can check details (when it ran out) on your "Account" tab. The reason this is important is that many players without a subscription wait for someone who has has one to provide more than the base game. So as a subscriber you are "sought after" in automatch usually and get matched with one of many non-subscribers. This will not happen now, making for longer waiting times.

3) You are playing at a time that doesn't match your usual play times. North America seems to provide the largest part of the userbase, so if you want to play when they sleep or at work/school, that is very noticable.

If it's none of this, you can make a screenshot of the automatch screen and post it here (or direct message it to me), so I can look what might be going on.

It's "Discord", not "discard" ;)

If you give your username from the forum in the report (because I'm only trying the exact same username as the in-game name, and I know even there are mismatches), then I'll contact you via direct forum message. You can have those directed to your registration email address in your forum profile settings, or you'll get informed of them when you next visit the forum logged in.

Thanks for the report, Cindy!

What happened was that you had a Lighthouse out, so naturally the attack branch on Pirate Ship did nothing.

I agree that this a shortcoming of the current UI, that you can't see attack blocking cards in play unless you explicitly look from them (by hovering with the mouse over the name field of the other players).

Yes, that's a (known) bug. Generally, when a Duration card is played using Way of the Mouse playing another duration, it will not stay in play, though it usually should.

I don't think it's an iPad only problem. Have you tried turning the iPad into portrait mode for this interaction?
