I bought everything on Making Fun. The way it sounded, I thought I was going to get all of the cards on this version for a year, but it turns out I'm going to get everything except for Empires because I didn't own Empires on Making Fun. It's asking me to pay 6 Euros to get Empires for the year.

I don't mind paying for a quality product, but like, I'm not getting Stash or Inheritance right now and this thing isn't fully implemented yet -- lots of information that is crucial for playing with all of the cards isn't being displayed right now, the user interface needs a lot of work, I could go on. Whatever, I can mostly play with it, but calling it a quality product is a stretch right now. It is much, much worse than Making Fun.

I was really hoping I'd get to play with everything for a while without paying, and then this thing would be finished by the time I had to pay for it. Like, I'd much rather have 6 months of everything then start paying then over having everything but Empires for a year. I'm sure that trade would work out better for you according to that math which I am not going to get into.

I realize you're doing this to be nice and you don't owe anyone anything, and you're giving out free stuff to keep people happy. I'm telling you what would make me happy and why (6 months of everything instead of 12 months of everything minus Empires) so maybe you'll do that? If not, umm, I'm not sure what I'll do. I haven't thought about it.

I have to imagine a lot of other people would feel the same as me also.

No response?

Sorry, but no. We really try to keep the subscriptions as straight forward as possible.
Spending the time on coding this and the extra confusion it would cause others presented with the choice is not worth saving you the $3-ish. Or you could just play with everything up to Adventures.

I thought you needed a Dominion Account to post on the forums, therefore I registered one. That's why I need help removing it. I did not know it was setup using a generated code to create the account if you clicked the link. To me the email I received read more a long the lines that you were transferred automatically to the new platform. Again I'm sorry I made the mistake, can you please help me fix it?

Ok, sorry I misunderstood. I sent a message to this account to get a confirmation and then it will be gone.

There also doesn't appear to be a way to logout when finished which could increase the need for kicking and may make those security conscious people nervous.

You log out by closing the tab.
(or by severing the connection in some other way)

Hi Shuffle IT!

I'm not using the service of Dominion Online anymore and have not been for years prior to receiving an email from you at the end of December last year.

I therefore wish for my Dominion online account to be removed and this forum account also, after removal of the Dominion account is confirmed. Now you may ask why I need the Dominion account to be removed. I thought you had to register that account and then use those login details to post on this forum. A mistake on my part which I hope you can help me correct.

Is it also possible to remove any references to my email? I'd prefer not to have personal information stored in a database for a service I'm not actively using, or plan on using anytime in the foreseeable future.

Best Regards
StuTheStew

We haven't actually created an account for the people we sent a transition email; we generated a code that allows you to create an account. So if you don't want to be in our database... just don't click that link.
We will also delete all the unused codes at the moment they invalidate (which will be the end of 2017).

I found that option, thanks for mentioning it. It seems the host has to choose that option for every game. That seems cumbersome. As a non-host would I even know if that was selected or not? Right now I can't host because I can't confirm my email.....

Agreed.  I'd like to set no spectators once.  Especially when I'm just playing bots.  I'm not a big fan of people just popping into my games.  It's just my personal preference.

Agreed there. There should be an option on your personal preferences to set this for all games you host.
Will add it in the near future.

Why not automatically kick other session instead of "Already logged in" message?

I can't think of a case where it would be a problem.

I remember watching a league match that just was *poof* gone because one of the kids of the streamer logged on on the computer in the living room.

Also... if those sessions stay alive despite you being gone, it's a sign something is bugged. Your friends would be under the impression you're online while you are not. I'd much rather solve that issue (or at least hear about it)

Sorry we certainly still have a lot of improvements to make on the table lists.

For now the easiest way to get in a real match is to use the automatcher on the leftmost tab.

There is literally no reason that spectators should see people's cards.  The only possibility is for collusion.
It might be nice for debugging, but keep that kind of thing to private betas.

Spectating is fun if you can see both hands? I don't know if that is what you're interested in, but you can learn a lot quickly by spectating some really good players.

How to Play / Re: Matchmaking
01 January 2017, 10:25:03 PM
We still need some work on an easy way to challenge a specific opponent. For now, this is the way to go:

1) add each other as friends.
2) one of you starts a table.
3) the other one goes to the "Matching" tab and clicks "join" next to your name, then clicks the "play" button in the bottom left. (It is possible that you can only join after the table host has set minimum and maximum rating difference to the highest possible values in the advanced table options)
4) now you're on the same table, can choose some rules, and start the game by beach clicking "ready"

I was told I would be getting it shortly yesterday. At what point should I raise more alarms/concern? "Shortly" is not an acceptable expectation of time.

According to the MF export, you didn't buy any expansions there. Is it possible you subscribed on MF?

I like 5 minutes as a timeout, but in the not-too-distant-future you'll be able to specify the timeout on your own games. And then people who think you set it too short can simply not join your game.

How can I play with more than one bot? You write that I can start a table for 3, but for some reason, when I start a new table, it is impossible to set the minimum number of players to more than 2, so when i start a game immedeately,l as you write, I end up with play with only one bot. i prefer to play with two bots.

Sorry that's a bit strange but you can't get the minimum above the maximum.
So first put the maximum to 3, then the minimum as well. We'll get to that.

We just released a new version and it is sending the messages to welcome new users, confirm email or forgot password.

If you tried to sign up but were stuck in the "signing you up..." (and are not on an iPad) please try it again now.

If you succeeded in creating your account but never got the email to confirm, please log in, go to "account" and type in your email again. The "Confirm" button should now work.

While the problem is now gone, I'm not actually sure I got to the bottom of it yet.

How can you invite a particular person to play, instead of just playing with whomever joins your table?

We're still working on more convenient ways to do this.

Now the best thing to do is create a table and wait for them to join it.
One step to make it easier is adding each other as friends, because then on the "matching" tab you can see them and click "join".
