I have plain and simple feedback: everything about this game's development is complete crap. I can clearly see this was handled by developers with no sense of design experience put into the UI and flow of the game. I also feel this was a narrow and obtuse development process that considered only desktop windows users using Chrome or IE as the browser window.

MakingFun did not have the iOS/Android apps available right away either, but the game did function in Safari and Chrome on a mobile device (Phone or Tablet) quite well. Your game is UNPLAYABLE on any such device. Given the proliferation of iPhones and iPads, the sensible thing would have been to have that version developed first.

Your benchmark is Hearthstone. end of story. That is the game you needed to model your release and UI after and while perhaps not match the excellence that Blizzard has shown over the years in game development, you should have at least matched what makingFun had been able to do.

The dominion app had become my go to game. I doubt I will ever play this again it such a horrible release.

It took MF much longer than you might realize to have working iOS/Android apps, and their web client was always very buggy.  I don't know how you were able to play on a tablet before the MF app was released.  When they launched, their browser version was available in alpha it was so bad.

You can also play games with multiple bots by going to new table, then setting min and max number of players to the desired total amount of players, then click ready without other players present.
This will also allow you to customize the kingdom if you wish to do so.
Cool, but unfortunately the bots STINK. They appear to have no concept of endgame play such as the PPR - they'll even buy a Province to end the game and lose apparently under the same conditions they'll buy 1 earlier. They will play a Moat the turn after a Militia or Witch was played but not use the reaction ability of the Moat to negate the attack. I've had these things happen multiple times. I've seen them trash Provinces with Chapel for no reason. I remember reading 1 post where someone asked if bots of multiple skill levels would be available and I believe the response was maybe someday. The level of bot play represents another HUGE step backwards in the Si product from MF's. As an older user with health challenges I have preferred to play solo (campaigns/bots) so I can make moves at my own pace without worrying if someone thinks I'm playing too slow, at least until I play enough to have enough experience with the cards. (I'm still relatively new to OL Dominion, having subscribed to all cards on MF just the last 2 months, after having experience with 5 sets IRL.) From what I've seen the bot play is so bad playing them is just not challenging or fun and is the main reason I just can't see myself paying for your product at this time. I hope improving the bot play will become a priority.

They are aware of this and are working on it.  They have pushed out 4 different versions since the launch, each implementing things that people were complaining about, so just be patient.

2. The movement of the kingdom cards between players turn makes me a little sick.  Its too much movement.
You can also turn this off in the settings.

3. Right Click is not a move most people get.  I recommend a click and hold, click hold and menu, click and menu (buy or read), or a "buy" button in the corner (but bigger than MF's buy button).

But once you figure it out, it is much better than having to click on the corner to see what a card does.

8. I can't login from work if I forgot to close the window at home.  This is really dissapointing.

You just need to put in your login and password and click "kick" at the bottom of the login screen then login from your other computer.  You could even continue a game after you reconnect!

5. The confirmations and undo are amazingly great, but sort of seems redundant, maybe make this more clear.

You can turn these off in the settings if you feel they are redundant.

Card Bugs / Re: Sentry bugs

1)when the opponent uses sentry you see an empty square.
2)when you use sentry, trash sometihng then try to undo you cannot see the cards to trash

I saw 1) multiple times ---> Joining game #35644 on tokyo.
2) it happened before I could register

1) your opponent is not supposed to see anything the card says "look" instead of "reveal".  So because of this, the current system is to show an empty square, showing that the opponent is looking at something that you don't get to see.

A dedicated iPad client is planned.

Ok but we still don't know when, so we try to continue play on browswer version :)

One idea is to look up the card text on wiki.dominionstrategy.com.  There you should be able to see the card text, and because the game is in browser, you can just switch between tabs.  It may be a little cumbersome, but it does work.

I could not agree more with the original poster.

Our household has just gotten into games in the last couple of years, and just got into Dominion this summer. To find that the Making Fun app was free was such a delight. Husband and I played hundreds (maybe even thousands?) of games against bots and each other, and the two kids played a fair bit as well. But if this new site stays as is, we are probably all done - never mind how difficult it was to get on (waiting for the site to load, then waiting for the email) the game play is just awful compared to the Making Fun app - painfully slow game play (not a slow connection, just how long it takes to get through a turn) and totally un-intuitive on the iPad.  If there were flaws in the previous app, they were not obvious to the casual player. A better route would have been to have charged for the app to generate the funds to fix whatever was wrong with the app. I will keep checking back occasionally to see if there are improvements - hopefully the developers will take all of the criticism under advisement.

If you feel the gameplay is slow, you should go into your settings and uncheck "wait for animations" and turn on autobuy.  I think the current implementation is much faster than MF was.

Also, they have been pushing out new updates to the beta with huge improvements about twice a week for those in the beta.  I know they also plan to do different interfaces for different groups of people.  Now that they have all (almost) of the cards implemented, and a working client, it should be easy for them to do different interfaces for casual and hardcore gamers.

I don't have problems playing the game on my iPad, with the exception of long taps for reordering (as stated above.)

I guess I claimed that before looking at the new system. I had no problem playing on my iPad on Safari on the beta, so I would imagine that it is going to be fixed soon, if it isn't already.

They may look the same, but the link has a code that connects the sets you bought on MF to your new account on Shuffle IT.  So the text is the same, but the links are different.

I will point out that I like being able to not have to click multiple times for things like courtier and pawn.  I like the one-click system.

Other Bugs / Causes GPU Panic
10 December 2016, 11:44:39 PM
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the site, or if it is just my computer declining more, but the site causes my computer to crash because of a GPU panic.  The GPU panics have been going on for a while, but this is the first thing I've encountered that causes it 100% of the time.

Was playing earlier today on frankfurt #76 (I believe, if not, just tell me and I'll find it in Dan's stream).

I was unable to drag the cards to reorder them on my iPad 3 running iOS 9.3.1.
