I have wait for card animations set to "yes".

I like the idea to show gained cards at the same position that boons/hexes are now shown when they are revealed.

I bought Advance to trash a Squire, then I clicked on Wharf to gain with Advance. I also gained a Scrying Pool with Squire's on-trash ability, but I didn't know it at first. There was no indication of Squire's on-trash ability working except in the log.

I know it's a known issue that there needs to be better visualations of what's happening, so that we don't need to look at the log to tell what happened, but it isn't in the known interface issues. This should be a priority.

Thank you for making ShuffleIt. I love it.

Your feature list:
Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
Only because I'm kinda poor, I would only pay for one or the other, and I prefer playing against people. So I probably wouldn't use an offline client.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
3. A strong bot.
Yes. These would be much appreciated. While I prefer playing against people, I often want to play Dominion online while doing something else at the same time which means it'd be better to play against bots so I can leave the game and come back after a little while without being rude.
Multiple skill levels would be ideal because I'm not that great a player. (I would often lose to Lord Bottington, but beat most of the others on MF about 70% of the time.)

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM4. Options for timed games
5. Options for undo settings
6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
I don't really care about any of these (The current undo we already have is good IMO).

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM7. Option to invite specific players to your table.
I would sometimes use this when I want to play with friends, but it isn't high priority for me.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM8. More translations (to what language?)
I only speak English.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...
10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...
Yes. These things would be great to have. I like having the log always on the screen, but I don't like having to look at the log in order to tell what just happened.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM10. Option to hide the log
I wouldn't use this.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?)
not sure. I might use it (I do have an Android phone).

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?)
no. I don't do Apple products.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM13. Downloadable game logs.
Yes. This would make games reports easier on fds, but not a high priority for me.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM14. Improved moderation (dealing with chat abuse, slowplayers, ...)
As far as I'm concerned, it's been fine the way it is now.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion.
Doesn't seem necessary to me.

Quote from: Stef on 09 January 2018, 10:33:57 AM16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online.
I wouldn't personally use it, but I do want to recommend Dominion Online to other friends of mine who are more casual Dominion players, and this would really help for them to be able to adjust to playing online.

another priority feature for me: Ability to ban a few cards.

Thank You!

I second this. Now that we have autoplay, there should definitely be autoplay for Sauna to handle this.

Card Bugs / Re: (king) Throne + mascarade bug

Donald fixed Masquerade in the 2nd edition to prevent that pin.
This is the current official wording:
Quote
+2 Cards
Each player with any cards in hand passes one to the next such player to their left, at once. Then you may trash a card from your hand.

You're right. I just didn't pay enough attention to the log of his turn.

Card Bugs / treasure hunter "gained cards"
09 November 2017, 06:31:54 AM
Exchanged travelers should not count towards the "gained cards" that treasure hunter refers to, but currently they do.
(I didn't think to record the game number. It wasn't much of a problem for me in-game because I had Raze to trash the excess silvers and pull out travelers.

Is this going to be implemented, does anyone know? Having to so frequently see the handful of cards that ruin my game experience is the main thing stopping me from playing more.

It is. Right now, Stef is busy working out some mandatory stuff for the final Nocturne release, but the ban n cards feature is already somewhat in-the-works.
Yay!

I would be very happy and play the game more if we could ban 3-5 cards in rated games.

This could seriously make a difference in whether I re-subscribe for next year. It can be very hard to find another player who wants to play unrated. When I do, I don't know if they're anywhere near my skill level.

I thought the point of a rating was so a player could be matched with another player who is close to their skill level. I don't see how banning a few cards would be a problem.

Under options, turning off "Move kingdom and play area" already does this.

I really like the new version (even though I haven't played it real often recently -I've just been busy with other things). So I hope you acknowledge that these are a matter of opinion.

-All of the background screens are official dominion card art except #10. You can type /bg 2 or /bg 3
up to /bg 9 to change the card art background picture. /bg 10 just shows a pattern if you don't want card art.

-The cards moving up and down (your #6) can be turned off with an option on the options screen (the "Move kingdom and play area" option).

The main thing I'm wishing for is more people playing unrated 'practice' games so I can ban the cards I don't like playing with, but that's a little thing and obviously Shuffleit can't help that most people want to play rated games.

1- game state stuff like allan said (including fixing the journey token so it isn't backwards).

2- Inheritance

3- sortable tables and/or some way to make it easier to play against friends.

*The ability set up games to exclude individual cards, rather than entire expansions.
There is a (fiddly, non-obvious) way to do this now. Under the familiar cards tab, set cards you want to exclude as unfamiliar and set non-familiar cards allowed to zero.

Token State: [Face] Up/ [Face] Down

text is optimal.

I never once knew the state of my journey token from physical inspection while playing Making Fun.

If there is a graphic, mouseover could tell you the token's state in terms of the card descriptions. (I.e., with "Current State: Up/Down")
I agree. Mouseover or text-only seems like a good way to do it. I agree with Adam that it should be clear.

General Discussion / Re: Tables, I just don't get it.
19 February 2017, 02:40:02 AM
I completely agree. The tables need to be sortable. They at least need to stop jumping around.

Also, it would be good to get rid of the range for number of players like someone suggested in another thread. Number of players at a table should be a set number, not a range.
