Yes, I like that too. I would say after the game because in-game is crowded enough, but ok.

I agree, that button post game is better.

But you could also show a box with this button and statistics against this opponent and his ranking when clicking on opponent's name.
This box could work everywhere, where I see someone's name.

There really needs to be a way to change interface options during a game. I don't see what the problem is with having a little box off in a corner somewhere that opens up a menu for this stuff, then you close it when you play the game.
