Exactly what the title says.  Bot gets $5 on first turn, buys a Silver, despite Bridge Troll being available. #1004047 on oregon

Yeah, the bot makes tons of bad moves.  If ShuffleIt keeps the game for years, it would be great if the bot could be selected at various levels of expertise.  This move you talk about would be okay for a 'beginning' bot.  But once we have reached a decent skill level, it does make playing Lord Rat much less fun. . . I'd much rather lose many more games against a truly advanced bot, rather than beating a bot who employs very bad strategy.

Even a dumb "beginning bot" should just try to spend all its money every turn -- that's what new human players do after all.
