Resigning question

Hello to everyone.
I am new to Dominion (couple of months playing) and really love that game.

Today something happens to me two times for 1 hour and that is the reason, why I am writing here.

Some people, when they see that they are loosing, stops playing and wait until the pop up message appear: "Make X reassign". Like for example the margin in points is so big, that there is 100% no way of winning, they immediately stops playing.

My question is - is there a difference in the ratings, if I loose a game, or if I reassign by myself or if I stop playing and the other player make me reassign?

No, rating-wise there is no difference between a loss, resigning yourself or being resigned by someone else.

Off course it isn't nice at all to just leave without resigning. You make someone else wait for a few minutes without any reason.
