Would it be timed for the whole game or for each individual turn? If it is timed for the whole game the remaining time would need to be displayed. One turn might be very quick while another might require more thinking time.

Yes, bottom cards could show peeking out on the side as if stacked sideways. High priority.

I like the game, its definately an improvement from the app download from the previous developer, it was a pain in the ass having to update all the time.
I dont however play all that often and was disappointed to learn that I may have to repay for it. It just something i fire up every couple of months.

I used this on the last client to learn new expansions or if there were no active matches. I would not use this anymore as I understand the expansions and matches are plentiful.

Thanks for the offer, name is DinoMcBatman.

My main priorities for improvement would definitely be in the form of an app of some sort (even if it is only a tablet one, as I understand a mobile would be painful for visibility), with some sort of offline mode. Alternatively, some sort of 'Pass and Play' mode would also be helpful, in a similar manner to other board game apps like Smallworld and Ticket to Ride. Personally I love Dominion, but without this functionality it is hard to get my friends into it (especially as I find it prohibitively expensive to buy the physical copies when I will realistically play it so rarely)

On the suggestions:

Not fussed about the campaign, a better bot would be nice though

Not fussed, maybe for 3-4p games might be interesting to see different styles. Would prefer it just to play well though

Here are some features we have on our wishlist; please let me know if you would appreciate/use them:
1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
Wouldn't mind this - I didn't like the campaign mode in MF, but that was just me. I log in to play against other people, whether that be strangers or friends.

2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
That would be great. It seems like Lord Rattington always plays the same way, and isn't too hard to beat (when I play him, anyway). A little variety would be nice.

3. A strong bot.
Sure - same as Q2. Occasionally, an opponent will have to leave and resign an interesting game, and I'd like to finish out the board for fun against someone who might beat me.

4. Options for timed games
Not a big deal - wouldn't complain about it, but the vast majority of players play in a reasonable amount of time. Furthermore, the length of a turn in Dominion is largely determined by the board - whether there are all terminals, or if there are villages and such, so a timer might be hard to implement. Maybe have a short timer for every decision or something, like what exists now.

5. Options for undo settings
Not a big deal to me. I like having an undo function, even if it's buggy sometimes (Scheme was previously buggy with undo, but I'm not sure if that's been fixed).

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
Not something that I had thought of at any point. Would be a cool feature, but I wouldn't miss not having it.

YES. I'd like to invite my friends to a table without them having to constantly monitor if I'm online or have created a table.

I don't know what other castles are in the pile, etc.

That would be fun, and nice while traveling, but isn't that important to me.  Playing against other human beings is one of the charms of the site.

Would be good, or at least a bot that doesn't do really stupid things like continue the all-money strategy in the face of a Bandit Fort.

I'm not sure that really works with real-world internet connections.  Most slow play has to do with bad connections, and a timed game would just be worthless unless all players had internet connections of a quality not commercially available at least here in the American heartland (maybe in South Korea it would work...).

This would be a boon, since the point is to play Dominion in a virtual environment, not a different game with the computer interface as part of the "rules".

I'm happy with English, but expanding the universe of players by opening the game up to people in countries where none of the current languages are common would be good for all (though it might necessitate your acquiring more server capacity).  How about Chinese? Spanish? Arabic? Korean?

Yes.  And it would be nice to be able to read the bottom card of split piles before they become available to buy.

Okay, but only if the buttons that appear at the bottom of the log are all replaced with graphics buttons in the play area in the way "autoplay treasures" or the options for cards with multiple functions to choose from (e.g. Counts or Stewards) are displayed.  The little text buttons at the bottom of the log are the worst design feature of the present implementation.

This would be fantastic for me, as I'm quite often outside of internet's reach, and would like an option to play that doesn't rely on connection.

As someone who mostly plays against bots, different play styles would be great to keep things variety happening.  Of course, with different cards, this variety is already pretty good.

If the AI doesn't break game rules (as some games allow to "increase difficulty"), I don't see why not.  Challenges are fun in themselves.

As long as this is an option and not the only setting, as I often play this in a way that I have to constantly move attention away from the game, and can take minutes between turns (another reason I prefer to play against bots, so I'm not stalling other players)

other thoughts: more sounds/music would be nice with the ability to turn it on and off. have something that rates your playing per game and gives a small suggestion on how to play better.

        This would be huge for me.  I greatly want this as it was promised when hosts sites moved.  I enjoy playing the bot (even old lordrattington) to practice card combinations and warm up.

       This would be great, even if it was just 2-3 options.  A big money bot, an engine bot, and and maybe a smithy bot. More than that would probably not be worth the resources to create it.

     It does not have to be able to hang with top 50 players, but if it could read a kigndom semi appropriately it would be a huge upgrade.

     Not interested. the current inactivity timer works fine for me.

      Its a little clunky to remember the right command to dig back in the log.  A simpler click undo than log step would be easier.

My nick is Karbon and I bought Dominion from MF.

I'm casual player. I play only with my wife or people I know in real life. I love Dominion, but I don't like hassle involved with so frequent shuffling. I sold my cardboard copies and I used online versions since (isotropic, bsw, bga, MF). Many boardgamegeeks I know in real life did the same thing.

I'm typical boardgamegeek, I have many many games and I don't know, if in the next month I will play Dominion 1 time, 10 or 100 times. Sometimes I don't play it for many months, so I can't pay in front for monthly/yearly subscription.

I need digital equivalent of the standard cardboard game. I don't need tournaments, ranked opponents etc. I just need a game that I can play with friends, among many other games. And for that I will gladly pay for every Dominion expansion.

The best solution for me would be something like "family" similar to google play store or offline client that couple of people can use to play by LAN.

In your current bussiness model your main product is "competition", but it lacks product "digital equivalent of a board game for a typical boardgamer". "Competition" and subscriptions works better with web services with many boardgames like BGA. For a single boardgame you need second product also, just like other boardgames on google play store.

Thank you for the opportunity to voice my hopes for Dominion Online as well as be eligible for an extended subscription! I had content from the original Dominion Online and enjoyed it greatly, and while I was disappointed for it to drop the offline campaign and adopt a subscription model, I was thankful to at least be given a subscription as compensation. I hope, given it's at the end of the ten day mark, I am not too late for this opportunity to extend that! I'll try to address all points as concisely as I can!

The ideal for me - I enjoy playing against humans but there's a lot of times I just want to play the old campaign and would appreciate any offline client with campaigns.

I've never considered this but I love the idea. It would be great to brush up on my skills for when I play with friends and family, using their play styles as templates (such as a focus on money, attacks, or action cards)!

Depends how strong; I like a challenge but sometimes if an AI is too optimized it can lose its fun as it's just about using the perfect strategy and having a bit of luck. However, I prefer a challenging bot over artificial difficulty (I remember the old campaigns had missions where the bots were given better starting cards which felt frustrating).

4. Options for timed games

Personally I don't like time limits, it causes me stress. I would not utilize this feature much.

5. Options for undo settings

Undo is nice because sometimes I click the wrong option onscreen that I simply didn't mean to select (a mistake I don't have a problem with when playing the physical game). I think undo is fair as long as the player did not do something that gives them an unfair advantage (like draw cards, seeing the top of their deck).

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.

I don't have friends who play online. I might play in mini-tournaments with strangers if available though.

7. Option to invite specific players to your table

Once again, I don't have friends who play this online at the moment, but it's a nice feature to have, especially if I find some.

8. More translations (to what language?)

Not applicable to me, I only speak English fluently.

9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...

I don't think it matters too much as long as players can see what's going on.

10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...

Sure, UI is important to me, there's a lot of cards to keep track of now!

I probably wouldn't hide it but options don't hurt.

I haven't had a problem that needs moderation so I can't speak on whether it needs improving.

I know how to play but it would be nice to know others have access to that so I'm less likely to play with someone who doesn't know how to play.

As for additional comments... I'd just love an offline client with campaigns! I'm easy to please! And I hope I'm eligible for the extended subscription on offer here! As long as it's priced fairly, I would buy the campaign upon release, but I would love to have a bit more time added to my current subscription!
