Thanks for giving us this opportunity. I thought I was buying everything in perpetuity when I first purchased it all. I honestly felt pretty ripped off and deceived. There was plenty of communication with the migration to the new platform, but I never saw anything about losing all the sets.

First of all, I've loved the implementation you've done with Dominion. I've played with regularity over a few iterations now and so far like yours the best.

For the most part, it's super quick and smooth and I can rattle through games against various AI opponent counts very quickly.

My main method of play is with a friend who moved away from my town years ago and we stay in contact over Dominion multiple times a week. We talk through Skype while we play so we can still trash talk each other.

As far as items on your list you're looking for feedback on, here are my thoughts.

1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots
Would love this. I travel for business and would love to play Dominion on long flights.

2. A bot with a setting for different play styles
This would be a fun addition. I can imagine choosing an AI that attacks every time or various other settings.

3. A strong bot.
A nice thing to have, but I haven't been too concerned about this.

4. Options for timed games
Not a big deal to me.

5. Options for undo settings
I don't know what options this would entail. Hardly use the Undo function but when I need it (like when I mis-click instead of right click to look at something), I'm very glad it's there.

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
This would be a great way for me to pull other friends into this addictive den.

7. Option to invite specific players to your table
Absolutely!
I mostly play with known friends. So specific invites would be very welcome.

No use by me.

I like the quickness of games. Animations are nice, but are secondary.

I've been fine with the way it is now.

I use the log constantly. An option to hide it wouldn't be a problem to me, but I'd have it open all the time. So just don't eliminate how easy it is currently.

I wouldn't use it. I don't want to study after a game is over, I just want to play again.

Your online Dominion implementation has become very good over the past year. My friends and I really enjoy playing it. We started with the card game, then found the MF version when some of us moved away. Giving us a free 2017 definitely helped with the transition and an additional 6 months is very generous.

I always play with a group of friends so features 6 and 7 are the only ones that really interest me:

In general I'm pretty happy. I would like to be able to see my opponent's rating even if it's an unrated game.  I would like to be able to match (and see) my opponent's 2 player rating even when playing in a 3 player game because I assume 3 player ratings aren't as accurate. I would like to be able to ban a few cards even when matching for a rated game.

I think this would be great. I usually play bots because my game play often gets interrupted. Bots don't care.

Are you talking about play styles like in the old MF where rounds often started with different beginning cards, or extra turns? Maybe, if I could turn it on and off.

Definitely. But again, optional.

Hmm, sounds intriguing. I could go for this as an option.

Improved screen fit to small devices (phone, tablet) would reduce the desire for undo options for me (a misplaced touch can be disastrous), but I do like having them anyway.

They've improved nicely. I did like the ability to control the speed of play in the MF version. (Can you already do that? I haven't tried to change it in this version.) Also, I would really like to see more of what the other players are doing (see the cards they gain, trash, etc.) instead of having to only rely on the log.

That would be great, but keep small devices in mind. Perhaps these need to be visible on a popup, or as the Trash and Log are toggled now.

As in not ABLE to see it? Ever? Hmm. No. Keep it as is. Accessible, but able to toggle off (hide).  (Of course, as long as it's an OPTION, go ahead and add it.)

I think an animation, or feature, that would be cool, is something that shows what the players purchased last.  This is obvious in real life play, hard to read in the game log sometimes, and easy to miss when you don't play close attention.

Top features I would like:
=> Improved undo functionality. Undoing should be automatically approved in cases where no new information is revealed. This already kinda exists e.g. when selecting cards to trash, but it could be expanded significantly. Playing treasures (other than idol) is one example area where this could be done.

=> Less buggy undo functionality. Sometimes it erases game history, and sometimes it also just does nothing (I can press "undo" but it doesn't give my opponent the option to approve the undo. Particularly bad around possession.)

=> Improved banning functionality. There's one particular troll that I've encountered repeatedly under different names (I know he is the same one because his brand of rudeness is quite distinct, and his usernames are always characters from a particular book series.) Typically he lasts days or weeks on a name, which indicates to me that he isn't getting banned fast enough, and also that he's able to keep creating accounts (so no IP ban?)

=> An easier way to view game history. Dominion Salvager can show history but only on the games since the last Glicko-2 recomputation.

=> The ability to step through replay games and then start playing from a given point. There are sometimes where I like to replay a game from a certain point to see what would have happened if I made a different decision - but right now I need to do a very slow binary search to figure out what the decision number was to reach that point.

=> But overall, the new dominion is a **huge** improvement over MF. It's really great and I'm glad you've done it!

Wouldn't use; bots aren't good enough players to be competitive or interesting to me.

If you can make a bot that's similar to a >level 50 player, I'd be very impressed. Unless that happens though (and I think that'd be really hard to do), this bot will not be interesting to me.

Sounds cool - I doubt I'd actually do this with my friends, but if there were tournaments like the one we had a few months ago more frequently, I'd definitely participate. I imagine that if you make mini-tournaments easy to make, we'll have more like that.

I probably wouldn't use this feature (community isn't really strong enough for me to have friends that I'd care to do this with), though I like the idea.

Native English speaker, so not useful to me. Since this is posted in English, and anyone here clearly understands enough English to play, you're probably getting skewed results from this question, though.

Nah. You need the log at least for the current turn, since it's not really possible to always follow the game in real time. Once you have that, it wouldn't be hard for someone to record the log on their own (I bet someone will even make an extension that does this.)

I think the screen size is the kicker here - I wouldn't play this on my phone, though it could be do-able on a tablet.

    Yes. Offline version vs. bots is ideal for me, campaigns optional.  Online games with other players is more creative and challenging but there are many instances when it takes too long and ends in a forfeit, or when internet connectivity is just not possible. Also, games with bots can be paused.

    A definite yes on stronger bots with different play styles.  It seems the latest version on AI has improved, but play styles are not varied enough that it can get predicable after some time.

4. Options for timed games
    Not necessary for offline play. Definitely a yes for online games with other players and, if possible, timed turns as well.

    Yes.

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.
    Nice to have, not a priority.

This is definitely the best version of Dominion that I've played - so very well done on that - one thing I especially love is it's ability to recover after a network error.  None of the old versions ever worked properly - they might try to recover but it never worked and it seemed to always happen just at the end of an exciting game.

Yes that could be v interesting.  Would that be each player has x seconds per turn?  Or overall time per player like chess clocks?  Also here sometimes you might want to play a slow game so could set the seconds per turn high.

5. Options for undo settings
Must have.  Initially I thought undo was great, for the occasional misclick, which was a little frustrating in previous versions.  But players frequently use this after they've played their move because they've realised they could have played a better move.  And worse, when they play a card that lets them see the next card(s).  And then it isn't fair to do an undo as they've seen extra cards.  Mostly if I try to explain that people get pissy - but really it's not fair play.  And now my thoughts are I don't want undo anymore, I'd prefer to suffer the occasional misclick.  Though of course it would be nice to have the option to set this before the game started (e.g. if you were playing with someone you knew who you trusted would only request an undo for a misclick)

Yes that would interesting - maybe having different sections of the tournament matching your rating.

Yes would be nice

Yes that would be nice - some small button that you click to see the contents of (like the way the trash was done in the old version)

Yes and also hiding the chat - very occasionally people can be quite rude so it would be nice to just turn off the chat (and for the other player to see that you have done this).  I'll blacklist the player after the game but just for the game itself it's an unpleasant experience and it would be great to be able to turn it off.

Either of these would be great - it's just about possible to play at the moment but it is very painful, buttons disappearing and the screen rescaling etc.

Don't have an iPhone...  (but just a note if you could get away with improved compatibility it would save a lot of work; on the other hand having an app on the store might give you extra marketing potential and also a way of collecting feedback).

13. Downloadable game logs
Yes but better than this saving games (e.g. on players' own storage such as Google Drive) and then an ability to reload a game and quickly fast forward to a particular point and then play the game to the end against a bot to see what might have happened if you used a different strategy.

Yes as I said under q10 I think the chat abuse could be solved with an option to turn off chat (and for the other player to see that you have done this).  And then  blacklisting the player as is currently implemented works fine.  Slow players could be solved by the timed game feature mentioned above and possibly an option to use people's average move speed for the last say 3 games in the search for games (e.g. <5 seconds, <10 seconds etc) 

15. Tutorial on how to play Dominion
What might be useful is scenarios to play that, for example, teach how to use a new card, or a strategy.  The scenario would place you in a game in midswing and you'd have a certain goal to achieve to demonstrate your new learning e.g. for an engine you might have to demonstrate that you can get all your cards out two turns in a row, or to teach the Tunnel card you might have to collect 3 golds using the Tunnel.

16. Tutorial on how to play dominion online.
I think once you can play Dominion it's fairly intuitive and the log does tell you what's going on and explicitly give you options.
