didn't get a buy phase after playing Tactician

I played a tactician on turn 12. I didn't get to they buy phase but it was my opponents turn after that. Requested an undo but the result was the same.

You had debt from a previous City Quarter buy and no coins to spend. So you couldn't do anything in the buy phase and the game engine moves on automatically.

This is a little disorienting the first few times it happens, but I'm not sure there's a better way of handling it that wouldn't get annoying after you're familiar with why it happens.

The better way of handling it is autoplay. All decisions should be the same by default regardless of how many choices there are to make -- I should always be clicking the same buttons to do the same thing regardless of how many other legal options I have -- then you can manually enable an autoplay to skip past these if you would prefer that.

Having a consistent user interface is really important, more important than efficiency or reducing the number of mouse clicks the user has to make, and the default behavior of the client should reflect that.
