When a game is ended no summary page but login appears

Hi everyone,

since saturday when a game ends, the summary page doesn't appear any more but one is fired back to the login screen...

And second I wanted to use the discord support but the link has expired.

There was some reorganization done that apparently killed the old link.

As you will have noticed, there are serious lag issues at the moment, sometimes making it almost impossible to play at a decent speed.

One short-term solution for this is to make another server act as the play server for newly started games. This takes the load off the original server as old games end, but now no new ones start. I've experienced this live a few hours ago, when the lag gradually seemed to end.

The result of this is that at game end everything is correctly recorded (like who won for rating purposes), but the players get booted out to the login screen. That's most probably what happened.

So if this happens, how do I get back to see the results of my game? We didn't ever find out who won. When I go to "new table" and click "Load old game" it asks for a game i.d. I don't know what the game i.d. number was. How would I know that? If anyone can help me get back to the results of that game, I'd appreciate it.

The game ID is posted at the start of the chat for that game and at the start of the log for that game.
In this time with more problems than usual, it might be a good idea to write down the game id when the game starts.

After the fact, you can try find out what you last (rated) games where on the Dominion discord at https://discord.gg/PSmwMyC

There is a "DomBot" who you can talk to with commands, and for example the command

!prior chonnyq

will list your last 10 rated games (assuming chonnyq is also your in-game name).

We also noticed that in those time the game is very laggy during play from time to time (which is not very surprising nowadays), but playing is possible despite that.

So the "lagginess" and bumped out to login screen after game ends have the same cause?

Then I will write down the game ID and see, what can be done with it.

I am relativly new to Discord.. I followed the new link and am on your server... how can I find the mentioned DomBot? (sorry for this noob question ;) )

Are the game stats deleted after some time? When I ask the Bot like this:

it answers with "No games found" or "No recent rated game found for user with name 't0mcat1337'"

Well, the temporary fix to "fight" the lagginess is what causes the bump to login after the game ends.

Your other questions

The "rated game" might be the key point. If you ask for games related to a player, I think only "match" will look at unrated games. AFAIK that's due to the way the db is set up, rated games are flagged specially so they can be better found for ratinng calculations.

Our game was also over and the result was not displayed. We did not note the number and it was not a rated game. Is there any way to get the result?

I started the game because I bought the gold pass. I played with 3 friends. We only played this one game and were very disappointed when after more than an hour there was no result. This takes away the fun of the game somehow.

Hello, thanks for your answer. None of us wrote the number down. After it happened the first time a few days ago, I took a picture of the number for the next 3-4 games to have it in case of need. As it always worked, I stopped again. Why is there no history for the Game-Numbers? At least for the last 5-10 games.

Is there an official contact page/EMail I can contact?

I agree that a list of last games in the client would be nice, for many reasons and not only cases like yours.
