But I didn't get any email. Also not in the Spam folder.
This is a recent (< 48h) new problem that Stef (the game's developer) is still trying to solve (has to do with Amazon not sending the emails). If you post your in-game name, he can manually activate your account.
I'm having the same issue. If manual activation is possible, please activate my account: JustLey. The e-mail is the same as the forum one.

Also, I had a difficult time registering for this forum. I tried to make an account but my browser crashed during the registration process. When I attempted to register again, it said that you cannot register at the same time using the same computer. I had to then use a separate computer to register this name.

When browsers crash, obviously something has gone wrong. When that happens, often caches and stored data becomes inconsistent, so transactions that were interrupted by the crash may be inconsistent. Clearing the browser cache often helps, and that should now allow you to log into the forum on your original computer.

SilkySandman: We had spammers in the forum 5 month ago and since then some options have been tightened to prevent similar abuse. For example, the first post of an account needs to be approved by a moderator (like me). I assume that a limit to create multiple accoounts from the same IP address (which it looks like from the outside when people use the same WiFi) that are not yet approved was part of that. But now that your account is approved, I also think your friend should be able to create their forum account.

@Eli1962: The email address has nothing to do with the country. The game uses the IP address to find out where you are. Apparently it made a mistake and located you in Romania. You misremembered the error message, it told you that your IP-address indicates you are in RO (Romania), not your email address.
The email address of your account is still the same german one as it ever was.
It seems there where 4 requests to change your password, made on December 23rd shortly before midnight. I assume that was you when you thought your account was hacked. Due to the email failures, you could not do that. I can send the reset link manually to you if you want.
But I see no reason to assume something was hacked, you simply misinterpreted the error message (which was due to the real error of the geo location not working correctly).
Even if somebody got access to your account, they could maybe change the password from inside the game (I
m not sure if this will require an email). AFAIK there is no payment info, that is handled by the payment provider Mollie.

I have another question and hope you are able to explain, was has happend: Dec 23rd i tried to subscribe and got response my email adress would not match my country (Germany) and should ending on "ro". Not sure what exactly the problem is, but at the moment it seems mails can take a long time to arrive. My test confirmation took 9h. Stef's test email arrived immediately, so it's inconsistent at the moment.

If I correct that myself, and you made an additional error in another part, nobody is helped because when you need a password reset, it's sent to a non-existent address.

About jominionated: What does "unable to login" mean? Some error message appears? Or after login the "spinning Castle" is continuously shown? Or something else.
About the hearts: A player can declare another player as a friend. If 2 players do that with each other, they each see the other's name with a full heart.
If player A declares player B as their friend (but not (yet) vice versa), that means A sees B's name with a half-heart, filled on the left side. B sees A's name wiith a half heart, filled on the right side. B can click the button "Befriend" to declare A as their friend as well.
So you and your other friend already declared each other as mutual friends. Between you and jominionated, only one declared the other as friend (who did it depends on where the half heart is filled, left or right, see above).
Both my and my girlfriend would love to use this service, but can't host games to play together. Username Lafatchu email is same as forum accounts.

Hi, I confirmed your mom, using the non-Comcast address she gave. Comcast is one email-provider that I get relatively often with "please confirm manually", I'm not sure what happens with those emails.
Your dad ("samdad4") I confirmed with his Comcast address (only one provided).
Your parents need those email addresses to be "reachable" in case they forget their passwords. Then the reset link is sent to this address.

I confirmed and corrected your email address. You had incorrectly "bit" appended to the end of the email-address, which made the confirmation email go nowhere.
If you login now, it should be there. Please make sure there is no other typo in it. If you want to reset you password later, the link will be sent to that email address, so then you need it to be correct.

Try to look into SPAM or similar folders to find the mail. The problem is that if you need to ask for a password reset link because you forgot your password, it will be sent to that email address. If it doesn't reach you, you can't reset your account password :(

The email address is important only in the case that you have forgotten your password, because that's where the reset-link will be sent. Maybe look in the SPAM folder or maybe it takes more time (It took 12h once for a German address once, for example). If you don't get the email at all, this is not a problem now but as I write once you need to reset your password.
