Feature Requests / Re: Original Base & Intrigue Cards
17 January 2017, 01:55:36 AM
Feast and Spy were terrible bad cards, and Artisan is an insane power card. There's my hot take.  8)

IRL I have removed the first edition cards from my box and the games are so much better now. I can actually safely feel like I can do a totally random base-only board with brand new players and it will be excellent, instead of most likely being filled with too many weak terminals. I am glad they are not in the online game either so the boards are more likely to be cool and good.

Right click the card you reveal and look at the very bottom line, where the cost is. This has the card types on it, like "Action" or "Victory". Many cards have more than one type, like Witch is "Action - Attack" or Nobles is "Action - Victory" or Dame Josephine is "Action - Attack - Victory - Knight".

Courtier lets you choose a number of its options equal to the number of types on the revealed card, so just one if you reveal e.g. Gold, 2 if you reveal e.g. Witch, all 4 options if you reveal Dame Josephine, etc.

This client tries to combine the choices into one click, so if you reveal a card with 2 types, it presents you with all 6 combinations that comes from choosing 2 out of the 4 benefits.

Say you have a Haggler and Hoard in play, and buy a victory card. You have to choose which one you want to gain first, the gold, or the Haggler card.

The selection to choose the gold from Hoard appears as GAIN_BY_NAME at the bottom of the log.

It would be cool if clicking the version number on the main menu bought up a changelog. Seems like a good place to put it.

(I am also interested in the changes for each version)

Had a game where my opponent bought Ritual, unfortunately it did not let him choose what to  trash and automatically trashed a curse, despite other cards being in his hand.

Turn 14 - Boba_Fettish
B plays a Scheme.
B draws a Sentry.
B plays a Sentry.
B draws a Copper.
B reveals a Silver and an Estate.
B discards an Estate.
B topdecks a Silver.
B plays a Crossroads.
B reveals 2 Sentries and a Hermit.
B plays a Torturer.
B draws a Copper and 2 Silvers.
B plays 2 Coppers and 2 Silvers.
B buys a Ritual.
B gains a Curse.
B trashes a Curse.
B topdecks a Sentry.
B draws a Copper, an Estate, 2 Sentries and a Hermit.

You can see by the crossroads play earlier in the turn that he definitely had a sentry and hermit in his hand.
