Unfortunately, the sentence in the rulebook (which the Wiki uses) was abit to strict. It was thought to be important to stress that while it may be a pile you have bought from in the previous game, Workshoped from in the previous game etc., none of this would work for this game, when it is the special Ferryman pile. Ferryman ist the first card to introduce such a concept to the game.

OTOH, the rules allow a card to be gained from a non-Supply pile if specified by name. That makes most Horse gaining cards work, without the need (as it was a few years back) to always say "from its pile". That's what allows Magpie, Port and Rats to gain more copies of themselves, even when they are the special Ferryman pile.

In the setup, game #140589707 on frankfurt, Magpie is the special pile for Ferryman, playing a magpie and revealing a non-treasure gains a Magpie. The rules (at least the Wiki) says the Ferryman special pile can't be gained in any way other than gaining a Ferryman.

Could be. I was under the impression that it got errata like some other cards (e.g. Farmer's Market) to remove the "Supply" part of its text. But looking at the wiki and the rulebooks makes this seem not true. I've asked for clarification, but as written it is a bug, yes.

Ferryman is in the kingdom, and Gladiator/Fortune is the chosen card for Ferryman. If someone plays a Gladiator and the opponent doesn't reveal the card, Gladiator says to trash a Gladiator from the supply -- Gladiator is not in the supply in this case but one is still trashed if it's on top of the pile, even though by the game rules this should fail. This is a bug right?

I did the renaming.

I hope it works, but I fear it will not. Players thinking they are owed an undo (if reasonable or not) will not be changed in their thinking by your name, IMO.

Hi. i keep getting retaliatory slowplay for not granting undoes, and i would like to change it to iWontGrantUndoes so that people can know what to expect when playing me.

Yes, I can see you made the same mistake. And I assume that, just like NomonTim, you did get the discount.

The first time (Core subscription) should have costed between 12.50 and 15€ (depending on if you need to pay VAT and how much). The second time (Complete subscription) it should have costed a bit more (1-2€ more), as you are now paying for the missing "half" of the cards over the Core subscription (and it's only roughly "half").

If the numbers are signigicantly different and you payed more than double the second time, the please respond again.
