General Discussion / So this just happened!!!!
29 November 2019, 05:40:20 AM
A player named Freaky joined, and then another player crude joined. So freaky lost and this was the parting message. Attaching the snapshot. Is it like this player uses multiple accounts to watch opponent hands? Playing in a league I understand showing ur hand, but in a regular rated game, is it mandatory etiquette to show your hand?

Joining game #33143550 on frankfurt.
Freaky:  Why are you hiding your hand again?
Freaky:  Back to blacklist it is
jackDozen:  sory?

PS: The other player crude has to be him correct? Else how can he know I am hiding my hand.

One user, who is in top 10, has played merely 59 games to reach level 64. This is quite an insane accomplishment I'd say. Is there a document that provides how the rating system really works? I thought it was based on relative level, that is, if I beat someone who has lower rating, I do get some points but not as much as someone with lower rating will get if they beat me. So to achieve level 64 in 59 games, you must have played with top players and won almost all of those games, isnt it? Just curious!

PS: Wish this was working

General Discussion / Random number generation biased?
05 November 2019, 06:45:52 AM
I am new to the platform (well couple of months new). I was playing a game with an opponent (I wont name him/her because I would like the discussion to be logical than to shame someone). This opponent insisted that the shuffles of dominion are biased. Well i thought it was pretty absurd at first because I couldnt figure out the motive that why developers would do that. Just to make a game more interesting? Dont know. And come to think of it, even if it is biased, favor action cards more in shuffles vs victory vs treasure, for two opponents in a particular game, the shuffles would still be random for them (anyone can get anything). But in some cases it can make the game more favored towards someone who bought an action first vs treasure. Anyway, listing pros and cons of biased shuffles would be moot if they are truly random, which I like to believe that they are. Any developers here who can comment on this?

General Discussion / Dominion mandatory etiquette?
08 September 2019, 04:57:05 AM
I am quite new to this site (~2-3 weeks old). Initially what I saw with the games was that when people win or lose, most of the times they move on to new games (clicking Ready), or leave..Sometimes they say gg, and sometimes they leave without saying anything.. More than 90% of the times people leave without saying anything.
So I was playing this game with this user called roovado something. We played the first game where he won. I left the game and started to search for new one. No specific reason, just that I like to find new opponents and sets. I was paired with him again. This time I won and as usual I left the game and started searching for new opponent.
I was paired with him again, and he starts abusing. Saying f*k you and all to leave quietly and then joining the queue for new game. He goes on to say that he is blacklisting me.
I dont quite understand this rage. Is there a mandatory dominion etiquette that I am not aware of?
