You can click on the arrows to the left and right of the number (here marked red), and that will change the number by exactly one each click.



So if you moved the box with the number to the "12" as shown here with the mouse, but want to bid 10, you click twice on the left facing arrrow and the number will decrease twice to 10.

Can I ask if you just started (trying) to use dominion.games on that computer, or if it stopped working from one day to the next?

If the latter, it would mean something suddenly changed, which may be a Chrome update or MacOS update or something similar.

I've had reports where this has been described, but very rarely. We don't know what the reasons are, but the usual things to try is for the player that doesn't see the others to change tabs away and back to the listing, or in extreme cases log out and log back in.

The table list is not the best place to find a table with friends.

Make sure each of you adds the other 3 to their friends list. You can do this by opening the "Friend List" tab and typing the account names of the other 3 people in the text entry field below, and clicking the "Add" button after each name. The list will then show those 3 names (and any others you have declared as friends).

Once that is done, you can find the tables with your friends on the right side of the "Matching" tab.

I don't think there is a problem with your account that requires deleting it. The above approach should work.

Yes, the rotation of the free expansion has ended.

Note that by selecting the "Wait for expansion" option in the matching screen, you will be matched against players who have at least the silver subscription when using automatch.

As I wrote above, 1 loss will be important now (when you have a small number of games), but no longer be noticable once you played many more rated games (10 or 11 games lost from 20 is a much smaller difference than 0 or 1 games lost from 2).

Not exactly, this is a feature that was much asked for from new players due to the pandemic.

You can do the following:

1) In the Advanced Options, set the "Min relative rating" and "Max relative rating" to 0. This allows only friends to join the table (or players with the exat level that you have, which are few, if any).

or

2) Click "Add bot". While this in theory still allows non-friends to join, my experience is that none do, because they all use a feature (tab "Tables") that only shows game without bots. Once everybody is there, you kick the bot and start the game.

Yes, for a while I missed the offline version as well. An offline version is something you can keep even if the license changes hands. Stef made the promise to deliver one and like in my last post, I don't think it will happen  :(

Yes, as did I. That was another company. That company sill exists, AFAIK, they weren't bought, at least not by Shuffle iT. They had the license at that time, now Shuffle iT has it. I understand that Shuffle iT did not make true on some promises, especially the offline version, and that's not good.

But the lifetime subscrition is something Shuffle iT had no control over, and they don't repeat that "mistake" (that's the nice version; "misleading customers" is the bad version). For example, the original license for Shuffle iT ran until end of 2019, and when it hadn't yet be prolonged, you couldn't buy a subscription into 2020.

At the moment your screenshot was made, you are in your Action phase, so you can play only Actions, which is shown by your Action cards in hand having a green outline (green means "can be played").

You can play Throne Room/Smithy as normal, so you can draw 6 cards alltogeher.

Or you can play any of the Actions cards using Way of the Goat. If you do that, by clicking on the Goat picture on Throne Room or Smithy (marked with a red ellipse), you tell the game you want to play the card using Way of the Goat.



Once you do that, the Smithy in play will get the Goat picture to remind you that this is how you played it and all cards in hand will be marked with a red outline, indicating that they can be trashed:



The best play in this situation (as best as I can see) is to play Throne Room normally, then let it play the Smithy twice, and you choose to play Smithy using Way of the Goat each time. This allows you to get rid of both the Curse and the Estate. I just did that on reload of the game, and it worked as it should.

About the contradiction that you see between Wiki and card, Outpost reads:

If this is the first time you played an Outpost this turn, and the previous turn wasn't yours, then take an extra turn after this one, and you only draw 3 cards for your next hand.

[emphasis mine]

As you can see it tells the player to draw 3 cards for their next hand, which happens at the end of the turn the Outpost is played (exceptions to this are rare edge cases). That's what the card says, and that's what happened.

The usual way Outpost works out that it is the only extra turn waiting to happen, so the 3 card hand you draw will be your starting hand in the Outpost extra turn. But this is not a usual situation, 2 extra turns are waiting for the same player, so they can decide which one goes first. And they smartly decided to combine the extra turn with the buy restriction (Mission) with the 3 card starting hand, to get a really bad extra turn and a really good one (5 card starting hand, no restrictions).

I looked trough the log of the game and that never happened.

What happended was that you played Border Guard with the Lantern, so revealing 3 cards to choose from, and that often included Black Market. Maybe you mixed this up?

I guess it was in the second of the 2 games you played and then resigned? If you confirm, that would make verification easier.
