What you can try is hitting CTRL-R, then explicitely logging out, close the browser and wait 2.5h until playing again (so best overnight). That should kill any lingering games you are inadvertedly part of.

Last post by Ranna156 - 07 September 2024, 11:01:35 PMLately every time i try and play a game it keeps just resigning me. I have switched browsers. Occasionally someone with the Name like UNKNOWN_444090 will pop up and maybe say something like "what is the problem". after awhile I get a message that the game is over because my username has resigned. It has also happened that i start another game and I can see the chats of the other people in my old game but the new opponent can't. Not sure if someone has hacked your website and they are chasing me around or what but this is annoying.

When a player resigns, I usually like to finish the game. I do and then it just hangs with the message "Waiting for Lord Rattington". I have to reload my browser. None of the other buttons work. I'm then taken to the log-in screen rather than back to Automatch. I am using the latest version of Firefox.

What also happens is that after the game the 3/4 player rating of the players changes (which is as it should be).
What I am not sure (and this is on the list of bugs to investigate) is if the calculation of these new ratings is correct (using the original 3/4 player ratings) or not (using the original 2 player ratings, as shown in the log).
