Was playing a game in the middle of my turn the client froze. Refreshed the screen and it said that I had won with 21 victory points to my opponent's 28 victory points. No piles were empty and only 6 Provinces purchased.
Refreshed again and was back at the Automatch screen. DomBot tells me that the game ended in a resignation though two minutes had not passed yet.
I didn't think to take screen shots. This is what Dombot reported on the Discord server:

I can't be sure, but maybe while your opponent was in the point lead with only 2 Provinces to go, they thought that you having 7-0 bakers, 3-5 Coppers and 4-2 border guards gave you a better chance to win. Of course, that is by no means clear cut, but when you didn't continue your turn (because of the freeze), maybe they decided the best way to end the game was to resign.
