the programming discriminates basis players
basis players usually start last
- they get actions cards later, some only come back after a few rounds
- they specifically get worse card constellations, e.g. only actions, money up to 7

If you join the general purpose Dominion discord at https://discord.gg/jNErg6nvkq, you can use DomBot, a discord bot made by player Cave-O-Sapien. It can list, among many other things, your last games and then you can check if you really go 2nd most of the time.
