Title: Not Much Success Getting Games
Post by: leafyscreen on 01 April 2022, 08:51:33 PM
I create a game for 2 or 3 players.
Parameters:
card pool level 10
rated
colonies random
shelters random

I can't seem to get anyone to join.
I have even tried making it a 2 player game.

Ami I missing something?
Is level 10 too high to get other players?

That might depend on your rating and hence the range of acceptable ratings for your opponent(s).  I've had no trouble with requiring level 10 when looking for an opponent with rating in the range 41-55, but maybe players with lower ratings are more reluctant to accept level 10 games.

The min pool level is like the more important one instead of the (max) card pool level.

Can you set a minimum pool level when CREATING a game?
Can you set a ranking level when CREATING a game?

I know you can set them when LOOKING for a game.

That is why I was wondering if I was missing something so I can expand the range of potential players.

You cannot set a ranking or card pool level minimum requirement when creating a table.

From a conceptual point, creating tables is/was meant to allow you to customize a game with players you already know. It wasn't meant to allow an addional way to find opponents, so it doesn't give any way to select who might join the table (except very broad with the "Allow spectators" options).
