Can you pay off debt after buying a debt card? I feel like this is a bug, because as soon as I buy a debt card I can't pay off debt. The rulebook says you can pay it off after buying cards.
You can pay it off, but you have to play the treasures first. If you take the short cut of clicking the debt card, it will only play as many treasures as needed to get the coins for the debt card. So you don't have any coins to pay off debt afterwards.
