Top features I would like:
=> Improved undo functionality. Undoing should be automatically approved in cases where no new information is revealed. This already kinda exists e.g. when selecting cards to trash, but it could be expanded significantly. Playing treasures (other than idol) is one example area where this could be done.

=> Less buggy undo functionality. Sometimes it erases game history, and sometimes it also just does nothing (I can press "undo" but it doesn't give my opponent the option to approve the undo. Particularly bad around possession.)

=> Improved banning functionality. There's one particular troll that I've encountered repeatedly under different names (I know he is the same one because his brand of rudeness is quite distinct, and his usernames are always characters from a particular book series.) Typically he lasts days or weeks on a name, which indicates to me that he isn't getting banned fast enough, and also that he's able to keep creating accounts (so no IP ban?)

=> An easier way to view game history. Dominion Salvager can show history but only on the games since the last Glicko-2 recomputation.

=> The ability to step through replay games and then start playing from a given point. There are sometimes where I like to replay a game from a certain point to see what would have happened if I made a different decision - but right now I need to do a very slow binary search to figure out what the decision number was to reach that point.

=> But overall, the new dominion is a **huge** improvement over MF. It's really great and I'm glad you've done it!


1. An offline client, allowing you to play campaigns against bots

Wouldn't use; bots aren't good enough players to be competitive or interesting to me.

2. A bot with a setting for different play styles

Wouldn't use, same reason as above.

3. A strong bot.

If you can make a bot that's similar to a >level 50 player, I'd be very impressed. Unless that happens though (and I think that'd be really hard to do), this bot will not be interesting to me.

6. Online mini-tournaments; the option to easily create one for you & your friends.

Sounds cool - I doubt I'd actually do this with my friends, but if there were tournaments like the one we had a few months ago more frequently, I'd definitely participate. I imagine that if you make mini-tournaments easy to make, we'll have more like that.

7. Option to invite specific players to your table

I probably wouldn't use this feature (community isn't really strong enough for me to have friends that I'd care to do this with), though I like the idea.

8. More translations (to what language?)

Native English speaker, so not useful to me. Since this is posted in English, and anyone here clearly understands enough English to play, you're probably getting skewed results from this question, though.

9. Better animations when cards are gained/bought/played/...

Animations do nothing for me.

10. Better visualization of split piles, Archive/Crypt contents, Prince targets, ...

This would be nice.

10. Option to hide the log

Nah. You need the log at least for the current turn, since it's not really possible to always follow the game in real time. Once you have that, it wouldn't be hard for someone to record the log on their own (I bet someone will even make an extension that does this.)

11. Android app (or just improved compatibility?)

I think the screen size is the kicker here - I wouldn't play this on my phone, though it could be do-able on a tablet.

12. iPhone app (or just improved compatibility?)

No iphone, so don't care.

I've had this problem happen a few times where the game is over (3 piled, last prov gone) but it doesn't end, and no one can do anything, including resigning.

My game #7737005 is currently stuck.

(I know that this can be fixed by doing "kick & resign" - but I should have won this game.)

Yep, sorry Heraklit: he's right and you were being a jerk. If he topdecked a card and you were upset that he asked for an undo after he drew that very same card, there's no reason you shouldn't grant an undo. There's no information revealed there.

I hope you will consider boosting the priority; I believe that there is a highly ranked player (level 60) who may be abusing this. Disabling observing in ranked matches until this can be implemented might be worth considering.

That's fair. I think you've hit the nail on the head with your suggestion: default to invisible for rated games, and each individual player can have an option to show or not show their cards to an observer (best thing would be if you can toggle it mid-game as well.)

Observers are able to see the hands of both players, and while often this doesn't matter, it can in some circumstances. As an example, a player might take the 2nd to last prov while behind on points if they know that their opponent does not have enough money to buy the last prov on their turn.

I've played against a certain player twice, and both times someone (the same person) has immediately joined and observed the table. While I can't prove it, there's a possibility that this player is abusing the system by having the observer tell the player what my hand is.

There's really no reason that observers shouldn't just see the cards that are played as they are played.

Sometimes pressing "undo" does nothing - it doesn't pop up the "waiting to see if the other player will allow the undo" box for the player who pressed undo, or the "allow the other player to undo" box for the other player.

An example game where this happened is game #6258842. I think Possession messed it up there, maybe. I've seen this happen a number of times.

I also ended up in this broken state in game #5903039. I have been in this game for more than 12 hours now, and was unable to resign the game or anything from in there. Only kick & resign from the login page worked (thanks for posting your solution there.)
