it wasn't 3 minutes each turn. it was around 1:30 of doing nothing on 2 turns, plus a minute to even start the game

game id: 182665792

this guy has spent over 3 minutes doing nothing over the game, and he still has over 3 minutes to play with each turn.

this seems completely unfair.

the player was pityflower

this is based on another bug introduced with rising sun that tricks the table into thinking there is 2 ready players when both players ready up, but one then quickly chooses to leave before the other chooses ready, and then creates a new table where only you are there in reality, but the table counts it as a game with active players.

when this happens, as soon as that false game is created, the timer for your non-existent opponent starts, and it carries over into your next game. when it asks you to force resign your current opponent, it's a bug from your previous table being carried over.

it doesn't actually make the current opponent resign because its retroactively being applied to the previous table's opponent.

i know. i have clicked it.

ever since rising sun came out it became possible in my tables that if one player toggled ready, then leaves, and then i press ready as well, that it would count it as both readying and would create a rated game with only me in it in reality, but the table thinks there is 2 players.

i hit start game, and then i would have to wait for the resign prompt to come up to not lose points.

i have had this happen to me so many times and want it to stop.

rising sun introduced this bug, which i think is the cause of the "make opponent resign" bug that randomly comes up in games with an active opponent. when that happens, it's because of the first bug thinking that a 2 player table exists before the new table/opponent happens.

you're probably right. at least i can say they were warned before they hit start.

thanks

Hi. i keep getting retaliatory slowplay for not granting undoes, and i would like to change it to iWontGrantUndoes so that people can know what to expect when playing me.

all this as long as i don't have to make an entirely new account and lose my sub.

thanks.

the current version of conspirator online triggers the bonus portion of the card, "if you've played 3 or more actions this turn". in one game, one of my actions was a horse and when i played conspirator as my 3rd action, my action phase was terminated.

either the card needs to change or the online mechanic does.

thanks

I played a game yesterday where the guy disconnected 7 times, and it was annoying on the level of intentional slowplay...

How about if you disconnect from one game 5 times, the game forces you to resign?

i've been told i was going to get reported for various things (words, not taking a mindlessly fast turn).....some people are very sheltered and seemingly live as if everyone else is their soulmate depending on their validation, and others are extreme sociopaths wanting to validate themselves by a visible game rating, regardless if they abuse players or cheat...

not much can be done about this sheltered mentality (ie "everything but x/y bothers me")

the two followup sources are discard and here(?)

does that mean if i get a reply it would be in my messages here, if i choose "forum"?

my only concern is that I get blacklisted by people weekly for not accepting every undo request or not caring that I take a while on complex hands.

I don't want to get reported for more than what I am doing. I fear the report thing could be abused.

I'd be down for a 3 minute one. That should be enough time for new people.

I'm just wondering if there's any chance of a balanced first two hand option ever existing. I only say this because if someone gets a 5-2 with a witch and you get a 3-4 with crap on the board, the game seems like it's determined by the first two hands. Buying two silvers until you can buy a witch yourself usually puts you behind the curse race by 2-3 curses.

So, maybe have an option where both players always start off the same way?

I am just wondering if Native Village should be considered as an action AND reserve, in the same way as Coin of the Realm. I say this mainly for the sake of Courtier.

Would appreciate feedback. Thanks.

Honestly, I would be concerned if there were more than just a blacklist, since that could be abused very easily. I have been banned or kicked in other games simply because I happened to be doing well in one single round. If they had checked any other data about me (win/loss% kill/death ratio, etc), it would have been very obvious I was not cheating. But, someone reported me and I either loss stats of a legitimate game, or I had to jump through hoops to have my account reinstated.

I am fine with the blacklist. I don't want an abused system.
